if they meet pacman will bust hatton up so badly..

hatton will obviously put up a much much better fight than an old de la hoya..but for me pacman will be better and beat hatton.

    Calm is needed.

It has great potential, but wait until the weigh in before making these predictions.

Ricky probably won't just stand still and get hit like Oscar did tonight.

well I dont think the oscar fight was a good reflection of whether pac can take a bigger mans shots ,ricky will rough him up grab him hit him to the body and it will be a LOT harder than that fight id say it will be 50/50 even fight that i'm looking forward to

yep. i give pac a very good chance to defeat ricky. pac has tremendously improved his boxing skills and his speed and power will always be there.

Pacquiao's style is maximized against a conventional style. Hatton isn't conventional. The exchanges will be interesting.

Pac will be too fast for Hatton but Ricky will fight much better than Oscar and give a good account of himself. It will be entertaining while it lasts, not like this one-sided beatdown.

I've said this many times that Hatton's inability to slip the left would be his downfall against Pac. If Lazcano can cleanly land and hurt Hatton with the left then Pac would have a field day against him.

Not to mention the check hook by who know who.

Hatton said he felt embarrassed for Oscar so i guess that tells you he fancies his chances big time against Pacquiao.

I don't understand why Hatton still ranks so highly on this board. He's looked bad in every fight he's had state side save for an old Castillo who was moving up in weight and a guy whose claim to fame was surviving 12 rounds with Cotto in a fight in which he got brutally physically beaten.

The Pacman on the other hand has looked great on a consistent basis. I know styles make fights, but I think Pac has the power to hurt him and the speed to get that power there.

Hatton leads with his face and Pacman will knock him out! Manny is way above Hatton in all respects.

Oscar didn't plan to fight that way, Its probably just different once you're in the ring with Pac...

Its funny that more than a year ago lots of people here on ESB are not giving Pac a chance agaist the Feather Fisted Juan Diaz and Ricky Hatton. lol
Anyway it will be tough for Pac but im sure the very open, coming in straight Hatton will be ko.
