Floyd has great offensive gifts that he sparingly uses. Floyd's a great defensive fighter and a very good offensive one in terms of technique and counter punching. Ray Robinson was a great offensive fighter....Leonard, Duran and PAC....All great offensive fighters. Floyd.....not so much.

 

Floyd obviously has amazing skills but most of his opponents stop throwing after 2-3 combinations and stay in the same position. Floyd gets to reset himself.

What happens when Pacman keeps coming with that lightning speed and moving around him. Interesting fight.

 

Relax floyd groupie.....EM is always cutting weight and yes EM was coming off a decisions loss to Raheem a very slick and crafty style for a very undermotivated Erik Morales. EM was looking ahead at anther payday with PAC when he took on a "tune up" that came in form of Raheem.

Don't be silly kid.....No one is forgetting EM lost before the rematch with EM....a fight that EM won the first go round.

I'm just saying fighters have bad nights....Take a look at Zab....came off a loss before facing Floyd. Zab obviously looked past Carlos b/c the Floyd fight was on the horizon.

Let's look at DLH who got a gift in his fight with Strum at 160 right before his show down with Nard. DLH obviously wasn't at his best when he squared off with Felix and got away with a contraversial decison before tackling Bhop.

EM beat PAC in one of his career defining fights and was on tap to get anther career high payday in the rematch. EM fell victim to what so many other fighters in the same position fell to.......Looking past their opponent expecting an easy fight.

Of course you don't understand that b/c you are all for protecting Floyd which means you have to bash anything "PAC". Floyd groupies are special.

 

Morales didn't have a bad night. He was having a bad couple of yearsatsch
