Pac's opening his mouth Now!!! This fight is going to happen!!!:happy

I think this $30M is reasonable. PBF makes around $25M on that DLH fight. Before DLH, His PPV buys tops only at 375PPV buys. Pac already reach 400K PPV buys without fighting an American & he's not even an American. Pac's appeal is more Global. This also will be for DLH's retirement fight, I'm sure everybody will tune in. Pac also Guarantees your money are well spent. You can't say the same with the Floyd-DLH rematch.

Pacquiao sets $30-M condition for De La Hoya fight

CEBU CITY—For Manny Pacquiao, a fight against Oscar De La Hoya should be worth between $30 million and $40 million, nothing less.

Reacting to a comment that he should get at least $10,000,000 to battle boxing’s poster boy, Pacquiao answered in the negative.

“Hindi naman tama yan (That’s not right),” said Pacquiao, speaking during a yacht cruise here Monday. “Malaking trabaho ang susugurin ko kay (It will be a major task for me to fight) De la Hoya.

“Ang hingi ko lang sana, kapag maglaban kami (If we fight, I’ll ask between) $30 million to $40 million dapat sa akin (for myself). Kawawa naman ako pag nabugbog ako ni Oscar (I would look pitiful if Oscar bowls me over.)”

Noting the big disparity in their height and weight, the 5-foot-6 Pacquiao said he’s willing to fight the 5-10 1/2 De La Hoya at either 146 or 147 pounds, where he won’t be at a disadvantage.

“Ang timbang ko kasi kapag todo ang ensayo ko, pero kumakain pa rin ako, ay nasa 146 (I weigh around 146 when I am training hard and still eating),” said Pacquiao. “Kaya kong labanan si De La Hoya kahit sa (I can fight De La Hoya even at) 147 lb.”

Pacquiao, who wrested the World Boxing Council super featherweight crown from Juan Manuel Marquez on March 15, was treated by businessman-sportsman Luigi Quisumbing to a yacht cruise from Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City, to Kaw-oi Island.

With Pacquiao were his wife Jinkee, sons Emmanuel Jr. and Stephen, close friend Wakee Salud and other friends.

During the same cruise, Pacquiao affirmed he will move up to the lightweight division in his next outing, most likely against WBC champion David Diaz, on June 28 also in Las Vegas.

I'd be disappointed in Oscar if he took this fight. Pacquiao's so much smaller and so overmatched that it's completely pointless. It doesn't do anything to enhance Oscar's legacy. It just enhances his bank account.

If Pacquiao can't KO Larios, Barrera, or Marquez at 130, he's not going to stop Oscar.

No ****, he's not going to stop any good 135's either.

PacDbest, Oscar and Manny can all **** off as far as I am concerned. PacDbest and his clowns assuming that Pac is the best sub-130 fighter ever, idiocy. Totally ignoring the Arguello's, Gomez's and Sanchez's that would have all destroyed his ass.

Riduclous matchup, it will never happen and if it does I hope all boxing fans boycott it.

DLH is slowly losing all respect he ever had as a boxer with his behaviour as a boxer/ promoter

So what's the point about The Forbes fight??? Forbes at his best is at 135 & he was not even the best there. I give P4P top 2 Prime Pac a better chance than an old B fighter like Forbes.

He Doesn't need to KO DLH, He can out speed him!!!
