Martinez/Pacquiao is a fight I would love to see, especially if the Mayweather bout isn't going to happen. I think it's a good enough replacement stylistically and it would be a great fight. Both men come to fight, both can be hit, so I'm sure that would be a big success.

    Pacquiao UD12.

Williams is an easier opponent though because he negates all the advantages he has because he doesn't know how to fight tall. I think Pacquiao could stop him in the later rounds, especially at 147lbs.

    Pacquiao KO10.

TBH if there wasnt that very significant size difference, id agree..

but seeing those those 2 fighters are probably SMW now and how pac just cant go to 150+ id definitely say it aint gonna be a good fight for him

I honestly think Williams could beat Pac ... ironically i think Mayweather would destroy Williams

I agree Pac would beat Sergio

I see it the other way around, Pacquiao has the power to exploit williams' lack of defence, he would be so fast hitting him flush with body shots and on the chin, williams would have to come down in weight for a pacquiao fight so his weight could be a problem( martinez aswell).
Trading with pacquiao who throws fast powerpunches for 12 rounds will be to match for williams.

With floyd i think its like this: If he stays on the outside and counter the hell out of williams with poor defense, he wins on points. WIlliams volumepunching and his size will amke it difficult for floyd to counter and therefore he would be outworked.

I do give williams a good chance against both of them if his defense would just improve a bit.

Haye is 9 inches shorter than Valuev yet Haye was still able to rock him with a head shot. Besides, Pac has proven he can hurt you with a body shot. Paul is an outstanding dude with a solid resume. If he beats Sergio again there's no reason why Paul shouldn't get a crack at either Pac or Floyd. If Paul can make 147 or 150, it's fair game. Let him fight Pac. It's not any more crooked than Pac being able to win a title at light middleweight by weighing ten pounds less than the limit. C'mon, Pac...if you give out thousands if not millions of dollars to charity then surely you can give a deserving guy who's worked hard a chance to shine.

Williams should sign with toprank, bob arum could turn him into a star and give him better matchups.

I don't see Pac fare well against those two at LMW or MW...

No discredit to Pac for destroying Margo, but Margo wasn't a true LMW at all, maybe his body is a natural LMW but he had his succes and most of his career at WW, and besides he sucked big time in his previous 10rd fight at LMW... hate to say Roach was spot-on, on that one!! Let us say Margo is just a blown up WW... he can't fight well at LMW, we don't have prove he is a true LMW at all...

Maravilla and Punisher are true LMWs (or even MW), Martinez his true potential has been revealed at LMW. He is ****ing fast, hits hard (doesn't matter what his KO% is) veeeery elusive, won't be as easy to hit as Margo!! Margo is a ****ing punching bag that he must be ****ing insulted when you miss his ugly mug!!

If he can make the fight at WW against either one of them, Pac would win IMO, but at LMW it would be difficult or even at MW... allthough he might have more of a chance against PW...

i think sergio could beat pac hes a good mover, decent chin and hes got a good load of speed himself add in the weight advantage and it might too much for pac. TM, Hatton and Cotto all come forward pressure fighters, someone whos a bit more of a styleist might give pac more trouble. Pwill could beat him as well but hed have to fight tall and i dont know if his power would be enuff from pac getting inside

Pac may have indeed busted Margo and Cotto's face like ****, and put an absolute clinic to Clottey.

But....He got hurt on those 3. Despite being hit very few against Clottey, his face is swollen. His head was stumping backwards on the few occasions that Cotto manage to connect an uppercut, also hailed Cotto (before he tasted margo's fist) as the strongest punch he ever tasted. Then against Antonio Margarito, he admitted in interview he got hurt - i read somewhere Margo is now the hardest puncher he ever faced.

Having said that, against Martinez or Paul Williams (1 to 2 division higher than those three he fought) he'll just putting himself in harms way. He will likely outpoint them and even come out as still a favorite in the betting odds. But he's gonna get hurt twice as much as he got hurt on the 3 WW/SWW he beat.

Plus, it's a wrong mentality to say: "Oh yeah, he's still more slick and quicker than X, but X is twice his size, that'll compensate for the challenge". That mentality is bull****. Let's throw Pac to a true boxing spectacle type of a fight, rather than being desperate to the point of making someone wrestle him (or potentially damage a small guy permanently) instead.

You have to remember Margarito is a punching bag (Even Sergio Mora said this. He sparred with him for years.). He's easy to hit and any elite fighter would win in spectacular fashion. It may not be as spectacular as Pacquiao's but don't let that performance fool you. Martinez is a very slick boxer. I doubt Pacquiao will beat him. It will be a close fight to say the least.

I said this before if there's anybody right now not name Floyd that has a great chance of beating Pacquiao, it's Martinez. Martinez like Pacquiao throws alot of punches with great movement and has speed.

Pac beats williams every second of every round. Williams punches wide , no head movement and from the martinez fight , doesnt look to take a good shot.

Martinez is a different story , he moves very well and has a strong technique , I see a close fight , but the power of Manny taking over in the second half of the fight.
