That's a good point, although it tends to apply more in the case of older fighters like Ketchel and Darcy since there's less footage of them that's available. That being said, there's no way of knowing what would have happened had Sanchez not been involved in that car crash. He might have gone on to even greater heights. He might have lost his next ten fights.

We'll never know how it might have turned out for him, but based on how he appeared when he was alive, he wouldn't have been an easy fight for any of the all time great featherweights.

In all seriousness, I think Sanchez beats him too, which will probably label me as a fanboy, but whatever......

Pacquiao is an all-time great, and a physical wonder. At 126 though, in that time and place, he wouldn't have been ready for a Sanchez. Marquez is Sanchez Lite and almost beat him twice. A lot of parallels could be drawn there, but others have probably already gone there, so I won't bother.

In no way should a Sanchez pick here be meant to discredit Pac, who is legitimately great; Sanchez just has the toughness and the style.

pacquiao will have blah blah with salvador... salvador is so blah blah that pacquiao will get blah blahed...

    (in-queue mayweather)... drum roll!

however, mayweather is blah blah that can blah blah sanchez which blah blah blah the blah blah. this thread is about salvador sanchez and pacquiao but mayweather shadows both of them so he is really what we should talk about because mayweather is the blah blah of all blah blahs.
