Too bad I'm not the one making the decisions here. I personally don't believe that EPO or HGH will help a fighter much, but other people and actual experts dissagree. Pacquiao's excuse about being at a physcological disadvantage is complete bull****. He participates in a blood sport. He has to give blood once a year to maintain his liscense anyway. We know for a fact that he's given blood inside 30 days in 2 of last 3 fights and withing 20 days in his last fight. There is at least some validity to Mayweather's claims. There is absolutely zero validity to Pacquiao's. Pacquaio has had no problem making up his own rules, someone does it to him and it's the worst thing in the world.
I had no idea about any superstitions regarding blood until he was asked to by Mayweather. Until this recent issue came up, the well known excuse that Pac came up with for the Morales loss was that he had the wrong gloves. Even when this current issue came up, Pac's own trainer said he needed a 7 day window. He was given a 14 day window and still declined. You just exposed yourself right here. Please explain how we know this.
Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda. I wish Freddie Roach felt as confident in Pacquiao going against Shane as some here do.
I don't understand how people can view something that's clearly subjective as an absolute or a generalization. What you are suggesting, in essence, is that every prissy woman would be mentality scathed at the idea of giving blood and conversely every blue collared manly man would approach these circumstances with a resolute fearlessness. My life experiences has shown me that people aren't as cut and dry as what general perceptions might indicate.
When I see that Pacquiao was blood tested against Clottey and Hatton and returned to training the very next day, that lets me know that he's lying when he says he needs 3 days to recover. So we know this won't disrupt his training. Now if he says he doesn't want to be tested the day before the fight, I can understand that. That very well could be pyscological. However, the USADA doesn't test 48 hrs. before a sporting event, and Mayweather was willing to give him a 14 day window. You see, I'm not just blindly calling bull****. I'm looking at the entire situation as a whole and coming to a conclusion. So you tell me why he's really turning down these tests?
It surprised me that shane gassed out aftr the 2nd round, damn he looked tight, im not into the shot thing thou and give credits to boxers who do what they have to do, props to floyd on this annihilation of shane. This further proves that pac and floyd are on a different level, they make good/great fighters look ordinary! And yeah the current pac would have stopped the shane mosley of last night. Floyd could have done it too but its just not his style anymore.
For one, I've always felt that Pac was confident in his leveraging position to the point where he believed that the fight would eventually come to fruition on his terms. IMV, this is the underlining reason why he refuses to make such a concession. It's also very clear that if given the decision, he vehemently prefers not to give blood. And since the commission (the establishment which is empowered to make and change the rules of the sport) has not sanctioned blood testing, Pac remains empowered to make the decision for himself.
Floyd beat Mosley because Floyd was able to put on a boxing masterclass with feints and incredibly timed counters. Pacquiao won't be able to do that. I can see Mosley outfighting Pacquiao. Styles make fights.
The Pacquiao camp probably saw something in Mosley that the jokers who claim 'Pac kills Mosley' haven't seen. There must be a reason Pacquiao didn't want to fight Mosley.
Mosley relied on his physical gifts, mainly speed to get to the top, he can still handle himself but anyone who thinks he is great at this stage is really reaching. Mayweather's speed was the difference, he doesn't have the speed, stamina, legs or reflexes to handle quick elites anymore (Berto maybe the exception) he lost to Cotto in 07 nearly 3 years ago, no way he beats Pac today.
U EVER STOP TO THINK THAT THESE GUYS "QUIT THROWING PUNCHES" CUZ EVERYTIME THEY DO THEY GETTIN HIT OVER THE TOP BY A QUICK COUNTERPUNCH THEY DONT SEE...FLOYD DONT HIT HARD BUT HE CERTAINLY ISN'T "TOUCHING" HIS OPPONENT LIKE PAULIE MALIGNAGGI MAN....FLOYD OUTBOXES MANNY AND ITS EASIER THAN SHANE:deal
