You're being selective. Why don't you go back to the late 90's and early 2000's and compare their opponents.

Pac was knocking ATG fighters out way before the Diaz fight and your excuse was

"Pac went from average to ATG

How the **** does an average fighter become a 4 weight champion, 3 time lineal, completely destroying 2 of Mexico's greatest ATG's, IF HE'S AVERAGE? Pac did all that

    the Diaz fight!

I see you keep avoiding my question!:rofl

Answer the question. Was Pacquiao considered p4p#1 or #2 in 2005?

Also when was the first time Pacquiao earned p4p#1?

When floyd retired is absolutely correct. As long as Floyd is fighting he will never be considered p4p #1.

It took for Floyd to retire and the 2008 for Manny to reach that elite p4p#1 level and he has been fighting since 1995.

Ok average was the wrong term to use. He was a good fighter but not elite until 2008 is what i am saying. He was still getting his ass kicked in 2005.

    Now answer my question.

Same opportunities? He could have come over earlier but he didn't, probably for good reason as he was still losing fights in the late 90's.

That's my main problem with people claiming that Pacquiao's resume is far superior to Mayweather. Manny wouldn't be boxing anymore if he faced the same opponents as Mayweather did at the same time he did.

All things being equal, their resume's are pretty close.

alright two things....what did it take for floyd to become p4p number 1?

and why does it matter who got their first... at that time they were completley diffrent weights
