Did you not read my post? My argument is that Mayweather was clowning champions while Manny was fighting bums. That should be considered when comparing their resumes too. Plus, their last 10 fight opponents aren't as lopsided as you think. DLH and Hatton were after Mayweather already beat them and Pac's performances against JMM were hardly brag-worthy.
they both won their first wbc world championship belt in 1998 Floyds the better boxer, Manny has the better resume
How does a This content is protected fighter become a 4 weight champion, 3 time lineal, completely destroying 2 of Mexico's greatest ATG's, IF HE'S only This content is protected ? Pac did all that This content is protected the Diaz fight! answer that!!!!
Let's compare their last 10 H2H Joshua Clottey - Mosley - Edge Mayweather Miguel Angel Cotto - Marquez - Edge Pac (strictly because of weight) Ricky Hatton - Hatton - Tie (Mayweather beat him first when he was undefeated while Pac demolished him) Oscar De La Hoya - DLH - Tie (May first at his real weight while Pac drained him but smoked him) David Diaz - Baldomir - Tie, arguments can be made for both sides Juan Manuel Marquez - Judah - I'll give Pac the edge although prime Judah was a beast Marco Antonio Barrera - Mitchell - Edge Pac Jorge Solis - Gatti - Edge Mayweather Erik Morales - Bruseles - Edge Pac Oscar Larios - Corley - Even Pac up 2 based on their last 10 fights. Let's go back and look at the rest of their career now, shall we?
No point making fair assessments in this fashion. *******s will discredit all of Floyd's opponents and *****s will do the opposite. It's a fruitless effort, don't waste your time.
youve gone way off your original point... Floyd was given all the early breaks Pac wasnt. you cant just fly over to america and fight big fights if your a no one from the phillipeans... plus losing dosnt make you a bad fighter... coming back from a loss makes you a better fighter
I was going with where you were taking it. And I agree with you about coming back from a loss making you a better fighter. That's the great contrast between Mayweather and Pacquiao. Mayweather has been an elite fighter for the last 11-13 years while Pacquiao has had a steeper slope to climb over the last 6 or 7 and has performed fantastically. Both have great resumes and both will go down as true ATG's.
:huh Where did I make any excuse for him losing you KNEE JERK MORON... It's obvious what you were IMPLYING when you posted your STUPID comment and now when people are challenging you on it, you FEIGN that that wasn't you purpose. You're about as brave as the Pretty One, which ain't much. :hey
he was ranked 4th why is it important who got there first? ...... plus u never answered my question, what did it take for floyd to become p4p number 1?
Beat everybody he faced in his career. Pacquiao was getting his ass kicked way to much to achieve what Floyd did .
