Taking myself back to the second negotiations, and the day it fell through, I read a Michael Marley article, where he claimed he'd spoken to Pacquiao's team and it seems talks fell through almost immediately. He said it became clear that Manny had no intention of accepting full random testing, and Floyd's people felt there was no point continuing.

He said that everything else from Arum and Manny was "blowing smoke into the media.".

A few weeks later, I read an interview from Jeff Mayweather that said exactly the same. They started talks, but there was no point continuing after Pacquiao made it clear he wouldn't be doing full random testing.

Roger Mayweather said the same last month.

Pacquiao was asked during the process what he had agreed to. He said "the 14 day cut off". Koncz then denied he'd even agreed to that.

Arum was asked what he had agreed to, and he had no answer.

Then all of a sudden Manny and Roach are in the media claiming they had agreed to "everything" in second negotiations. All the tests. Leading to most of Pacland proclaiming he's done everything he can to make the fight happen, and is being ducked.

    I didn't believe this for a second.

Low and behold, first episode of 24/7, his own manager, Koncz, clarifies what everyone's been saying from the start.

He wouldn't agree to full random testing, and wanted a cut off date still. Mayweather would only accept full random testing, so the fight fell through immediately.

Does anyone believe a word Pacquiao says? Why not just admit you couldn't agree terms?

Why's the guy got to lie to the media, to pile the blame on to someone else?

so *******s can go on and on and on about everything but he gets exposed for some **** and all of a sudden "its doing too much"..

so after this all hell will still continue about floyd and everything he do..but when we bring up pac its "shut up already"..
see...thats what im talkin about...Pac is like a god to these people..he can do no harm and continuously talking about anything negative with pac is all wrong...but we can go on and on and on with everything Floyd does...

next one..thats just an excuse to get away from Team Pac's recent mistakes .....the situation is there and we on a boxing website..EXPECT TO HEAR ABOUT IT..

emmanuel is a clever politician. He's not just some dumb and humble filipino farmer everyone makes him out to be. The backlash would have been insane if he ducked Floyd a second time and go cherrypick margarito. emmanuel's career thrives on pleasing people. He needed a lie, saying that he did as much as he can to make the demanded fight happen. Can you imagine how low his popularity would have sank if it was clear that his intention all along was to fight marg?
