I would have agreed with your statement, but after watching Marquez vs. Diaz I & II, I think Pacquiao would eat him for breakfast. Diaz is barely a B- fighter who was put on ***** street by Pauli Malignaggi, yet him and Marquez were trading punches like earlier in their first fight. It almost looked at first like he might be too much for Marquez had it not been for Marquez's adaptability.

I just see Pacquiao being way too much for Marquez at this point.

    Don't be delusional.

    Floyd peaked in 07.

    Pac kills him now.

WoW look at 5:59 brilliant defense I think he blocked every punch but one then stood in there and threw back.

I doubt it goes the distance. Cotto stops Jr.

Chavez is a big boy now, I don't think he's easily stopped.

I don't say it's impossible, but I do see Cotto having to step off the gas and get the decision if he doesn't break chavez's ribs early.

Kellerman: "mayweather seems not willing to fight manny pacquiao... waits for his chief rival to slow down... if it's the case mayweather is waiting to fight pacquiao the time might be approaching, at least we should hope it's approaching."

lampley: "so years from now we say mayweather is a genius, he waited pacquiao to fight 5 bigger guys, he watched him fight a guy 17 lbs larger maybe he'll fight him next week"

    kellerman: "let's, see"

Agreed. But as a Pac fan that has followed him since his flyweight days, I see JMM as his biggest rival. I'm just not satisfied with a draw and a win that could've easily been a loss for him against JMM. I don't care if he doesn't get any credit from his haters (which he won't in any shape and form). Like Roach said, this is to finally shut JMM up since he really wants this fight.

It's Jr's size that makes me concerned for Cotto. Cotto was kind of a small welterweight even. His power usually made the difference and earned him respect. Look what happened when Margarito didn't give him respect? He doesn't do well under pressure. If Chavez Jr has the stamina and endurance, I don't think Cotto could deal with that toward the end of the fight. He seriously needs to train for stamina because that in combination with his vulnerability to straights and uppercuts has been evident in his past few fights.

i just think the gap in skill is too much. Wouldnt surprise me to see Chavez's corner throw in the towel.

Pac is an enigma. The more you throw punches on him, the more you get hurt.

yeah, I agree, but Pac and Clottey have both said Cotto is the hardest puncher they have faced.

If the Cotto who beat Mosley was still around.... I wouldn't give Mayweather or most other WW's a chance.
