The Marquez fight showed Pac's punch resistance has slipped, noticeably. I would not be shocked if Mayweather stops him next weekend.

No, Pac's chin is the same, or close to it. Marquez just landed some hellacious shots.

nah the 3rd round knockdown was a shot marquez had landed several times on pac in previous fights. the knockout shot was mostly due to pac running into it but i think there has been some clear evidence his punch resistance has slipped

I don't think it's his chin that's changed, I don't think he moves his feet as quickly as he used to.

JMM 2nd shot was just ridiculous. Watch in regular speed and JMM basically got full leverage, perfect angle, all the while Pac leaped into it and didn't see it coming.

The 1st KD was questionable though because we seen JMM land the exact same shots in previous fights. I guess Heredia was the difference in this one.

In the 3rd round Pac was backing up and not truly balanced. Or am I remembering it wrong?

Punch resistance like any other physical attribute, speed, reflex, diminish over the course of a fighters career.
This is really true if the fighter has a habit of eating punches, through out his career.

You're remembering it wrong. Pac was standing still and thought because of the angle jmm was coming from that he was throwing a body shot. Instead, brought it upstairs an knocked PACs eyes sideways. Obviously not as hard as the KO punch but it hurt him pretty good.

Pac got hit even harder than the one that knocked him down in round 3 it was after Pac knocked marquez down in round 5 and jmm landed the exact same shot he landed in round 6 but Pac was able to stand up even roy went ooooooh

Pac chin is not the same his chin was unbelievable before the knockout of shot by marquez

No, it showed how powerful Marquez became. See how he send Alvarado flying across the ring?

It isn't what it used to be, but it's not Glass.

Mayweather isn't knocking anyone out.. particularly Pacquaio.
