I really think he will, he's still finding a way to make as much money as he can without Manny or Floyd realizing it.

So you're saying Arum is more concerned with Pac not looking like a fool than making the possibly the biggest money earning fight in history? Doesn't that contradict everybody's belief that Arum is greedy and only after Pac's money? What good is Pac to Arum once Pac retires?

    Do explain.

Goldenboy is still getting a peice of every one of Pacs fights under this contract, per the terms of the settlement. Arum want's all the money and will **** around until the contract is up. If Pac suddenly retires don't be surprised if its because of pressure from Arum blackmailing him into another **** contract.

The fight is no longer going to happen, but in 2010 when Arum blocked the fight, Pac still had years left on his contract and wasn't going to risk Pacquiao being embarrassed so early and therefore losing his cashcow.

There were stories that he signed a new contract after margarito I think. If it was 2 years then it's up. Did he extend that in 2011.

I dont think anyone really knows.

Yes he extended the contract just before the Shane Mosley fight, which means he agreed terms up to 18 months before he had even finished his current contract seriously I hope he can find a way out, however I seriously question his team and more importantly Freddie roach who is supposed to be that father figure in pacs life, you'd think he'd have guided PAC away to develop a serious organisation of his own.

Maybe he did advice him. Theres Koncz whos arums inside man so he wont get any advice there. After all this Pac knows the deal too. Can't be that naive, maybe he has his reasons.

He needs to get a TRUE OUTSIDE ADVISOR. . . A truly neutral third party, and sit down with them, crunch some numbers, make some estimates, talk to some other promotors about what it would cost to set up PPV's with their guys, and then find out what would be in his best interests.

last time he tried that with Vision Quest he obeyed bob and koncz when they told him to fire VQ. emmanuel just anit that savvy. He likes to take orders from the man. VQ wasn't even crunching numbers to see what it would be like if he's a free agent. They were simply trying to make sure he gets paid waht he should be getting paid

Seeing as he's a congressman he can't be dictated to as has to take action. So must know how to make decisions or how will he serve those who elected him. It did make business sense for him to be with TR until he got a big name. But now he sells himself. Thats his business, how much he makes/losess all I'm interested in is that the fights I want to see get made.
