Who's your favorite fighter if I may ask? Can you mention a contemporary fighter who does not fight in catchweights?

No one Favorite but i am fond of Andre Ward, Andre Berto, Yuriorkis Gamboa, Victor Ortiz, Chad Dawson, James Kirkland and Shane Mosely will always be my boy, so far no catchweights for any of these guys.

From 112 to 130, He KOed a champion after taking the fight on 2 weeks notice. he fought and beat various champions, 3 of them hall of famers.
At 135, he fought the weakest champion. But he dominated him and knocked him out.
At 140, he fought and KO'ed the recognized champion at that weight.
At 147, he fought and TKOed the champion (at catchweight) and beat a top contender by UD.

This should be enough for him to be ranked 1 or 2 pound for pound champion. It does not mean he can beat everyone at many weight classes. It means that at many weight classes he is a contender and can give a competitive bout to any champion from different weight classes. At this point in time, he can beat any champion from 135 to 147. He can still be competitive to any champion at 154 (no catchweight).

It's unfortunate that Manny drains guys down below the natural weight classes to illegitimately win "titles" because I believe he would have beaten Cotto at 147lbs all the same and would smash Rockgloves at any weight. Yet, he pulls them down below their comfortable weights and devalues his wins when he gets them.
