Pacman lost that killer instinct right about the time he carried Antonio Margarito.

Agreed. Pacquiao may have ruined Margarito's face, but Margarito still beat the shits out of Pacquiao's body. Pacquiao got so ****ed up he was in bed after the fight in the fetal position for nearly a week and had to cancel his book signing.

I think it is funny the way people criticize Pacquiao for whooping guys who took less a beating than what he received from Margarito, but after Pacquiao takes a severe beating from Margarito, he is somehow exempt from suffering the effects of a terrible ring war.

Margarito took his body away. He was never the same after that starting from Mosley fight.

I think Pac knows it. He is just hiding it because he can still make $$$ by just continuing to fight.

    Margarito.

He was visibly slower, tired out earlier and the hunger was just gone.
This was even before that gift body shot that he gave to Margarito.
He was simply slower, both in his hands and feet, but his feet more so.

If you want to see how bad he declined, watch Pac-Cotto and then immediately watch Pac-Bradley.
His movements and reflex are slooooooow, he's an awful lot less busy and simply looking old and tiring easily.

After the Mosley fight I feel.

  11. I'd say the Mosley fight was the 1st fight since he become a superstar he looked human- but Mosley was freaked out by his power.

Although he hasn't declined to the point of being shot. He comfortably beat Bradley in his last fight who is a pound for pound top 20 fighter.

The progress: 1) Biggest thing that's ****ed him is he doesn't listen to roach anymore. That started with the cotto fight he starts beefing with Roach and stops listening him on training schedules and ****. Since then its been a gradual decline to a point where Manny basically does whatever he wants. More and more. 2) At one point he started picking a choosing which one of Ariza's workout he would actually do. Now apparently he basically doesn;t do any of them. 3) Biggest catalyst to his decline was becoming congressman. Every since he decided thats what he wanted to do his focus hasn't been on boxing. Now he's just a part time fighter.

Manny seems to be working harder for this camp but he's still making all the mistakes that have lead to his down fall. He decided to only do 6 wks with roach, he isn't doing **** all that ariza wants him to do. Which may be a good thing cause doing half of his **** might have been the worst thing possible. And apparently he's still not listening to roach all that much.

Bottom line once you let a sharp knife dull it takes 10 times the effort to sharpen it again then simply maintaining it. Manny has been doing it all wrong for the last 3-4 years and the momentum is probably too much to over come.

After Margarito. I think mentally he told himself the Mayweather fight will never happen and he's already done all he wanted to do.

After the Pac-Clottey fight, he's now longer the same I've expected to be.
It's not that either Cotto or Clottey worn him out but it seems his entry to politics may have taken alot of toll on him.

He's still seems solid until now but his speed, his movements, his sharpness, his killer instincts weren't the same already like the ones in the both Cotto and Clottey fights.

But heck this ain't no excuse on him. He just did that to himself on where he stands now. :good
