After Margo. Those hits he took each time he got in the ropes against him damage him.

Agreed, at first I thought the weight was too much but his succeeding fights just proved different cause it ain't just the weight.

He fought JMM in 2004, that's one spectacular decline

Aside from Pacquiao Marquez 3, which was a chess match, you have to admit that Mosley and Bradley were backing up their entire fights. It's no doubt that Pacquiao has declined, but stylistically, his recent fights haven't gone toe-to-toe with him.

To be honest, the only way to be able to clearly tell at this point how diminished Pacquiao's intensity is, is to toss him in the ring with another fighter similar to Cotto/Margarito/Hatton who likes to pressure their opponents.

when you fight bigger guys they're going to hurt you more, so it's logical he's going to get hurt a bit more. Also people go on about when he looked slower - he's gone up in weight, he's never going to maintain the same hand speed, so it's not necessarily decline but a simple biological fact that the heavier weight means he can't maintain the same hand speed he had at 126/130.

His last great performance was Margarito. But rather than hand speed I look more at his physical output. He's still faster than any welterweight or light-welter, let's be clear there. But his workrate is what has suffered, after Margarito his workrate is less and less - he was happy to see Mosley running and just walked through the fight, Clottey fight he plodded, against Marquez his tempo was the slowest I've ever seen it, against Bradley his tempo improved but he only showed it 1 minute of every round.

    So post-Margarito basically

*******s cant equate that when a fighter does'nt stand there stationary to be hit, the opponents workrate decreases.

Marquez for example was constantly giving Pacquiao different angles and side stepping. Naturally under these circumstances you're going to have a lower workrate than you would say slow as Mollases Margarito just standing there like a punching bag.

 How these *******s cant figure out what 1+1 is mind boggling! :nut:!:

He's not been matched with slow footed, plodding, aging fighters with a missing defense as of recent.

Couldnt agree more, Margarito was his last spectacular performance! We saw glimpses in the Mosley fight but seen nothing since even tho he did beat Bradley he wasnt the same pacman

Considering everyone has seen Pacquiao in 2 previous fights with Marquez it's easy to compare Pacquiao like for like. Marquez did the same thing in the previous 2 fights where he was quicker as well and Pacquiao was a lot more active :patsch
