It started after Cotto when he said he had already accomplished everything he wanted to accomplish in boxing.

He effectively lost his hunger for the sport after that fight. That's when he became a politician first and a boxer second.

Yeah Clottley was standing right in front of him but couldn't hit him and had him swinging at air, the most embarrassing dominating performance I seen in a boxing match, with Pac Mosley being a close second:lol:

The Margarito beatng took every little bit of prime left in Pacquaio people talk about the body shot, but Pac got hit 229 times in a brutal war

He looked off against Clottey tbh. Never been too spectacular after that fight, also hasn't knocked out anyone in years.

He hasn't declined, his weaknesses have been exposed more which his opponents have attempted to exploit.

While he dominated Cotto there was one round where Miguel went on his bike (11th?) and Pacquiao didn't want to come after him, even signalling him to come forward and fight, Clottey and Margarito didn't capitalise on this but Mosley did, despite being completely shot he showed up a huge flaw in Pacquiao's game in that he had no idea how to cut off the ring when someone shows movement.

There have also been rumblings about his opponents style helping him look so devastating which was confirmed when he fought Marquez, this all new and improved Pacquiao still struggled massively with a guy with good counter punching ability, in fact the improvements were all smoke and mirrors.

If you put him in with someone that will stand in front of him I've no doubt he will look impressive again.

At the time of Pacquiao fighting them...

    Clottey - Never been stopped
    Margarito - stopped once
    Mosley - Never stopped
    Marquez - Never stopped
    Bradley - Never stopped

He beat these four from pillar to post and couldn't end them.
