Is his new devotion to his faith shown to be that serious in 24-7? I've not seen the first episode yet, but that seems to be all everyone is talking about.
more than 5 years in ESB and I never read anyone attack another boxer's faith. Can't we just leave this on the lounge and stay with boxing.
Pacquiao's new love of faith is nothing more than PR to try and resurrect his slipping 'good boy' image. In the last few years the guy has become the number 1 steroid suspect in the sport, has been borrowing money from Arum to cover his gambling and has been on the brink of divorce due to his adultery. All this while trying to pursue a career in politics. It's pretty funny, and ever so contrived
Religions are just ways of expanding empires and alliances to me, ultimately they are now anyway. I believe some were potentially made based on some truths for some good reasons. Time has made nearly all of them quite warped. I just love the gift of life personally, and try to see everyone's angles and perspectives in search of truth. I also respect people who follow their religions quietly and don't judge others based on them having a different belief. If it makes them happy and helps them to cope, it can be a great thing.
Freddie will tell Manny that Bradley is teh homosex and use feminine poofster mustache and vegan as proof undeniability. In such fashion Manny faith KO help mystical Bradley rutabaga cranium.
The end of Tyson came when he married Robin Givens. I don't think it will hurt him more that much. If he is focusing on this more than his fight, it could be a distraction but that's it.
Great thread. Butthurt christian. :hi: Why you mad tho? And Pac is the one talking about his faith almost all the time now so it's fair game.
