I noticed there was a lot more talk about Manny's "fighter of the year award" in 2008 and Floyd's "fighter of the year award" in 2007 than there is of his award this year.

As a matter of fact I have seen more news on MANNY NOT TAKING A DRUG TEST (REGARDLESS OF WHO, WHEN, HOW, WHAT, WHY) ON THE NEWS THAN I HAVE HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT HIS FIGHTER OF THE YEAR AWARD...LAST YEAR THERE WAS A LOT MORE ABOUT IT ACTUALLY...

IT IS CLEAR TO ME NOW THAT THE MEDIA IS STARTING TO BLAME PAC FOR THIS FIGHT NOT HAPPENING. IT SEEMS AS IF MOST ARTICLES ARE PRO-MAYWEATHER when it comes to the drug test item as of yesterday. Last week there was a lot more Pro-Pacquiao articles out, but I can't say the same for today.

I can say that Manny's reputation is HURT MORE THAN ANYTHING FROM HIM NOT WANTING TO TAKE A SIMPLE DRUG TEST....

Mayweather - a proven cheat, as well as one who strives to avoid tough fights wherever possible - hasn't asked for such tests from any of his previous opponents yet is doing so for this one off the back of....convenient speculation from his own father.

Every pacquiao fan in here ignored everything my post was saying...u guys go on with how mayweather is a cheat and how floyd fans are jealous..THATS ALL NICE..BUT WHAT IN THE HELL IT GOTTA DO WITH MY POST?

Im stating that the media has shifted their views and aren't paying any attention to manny's award..normally i see something on espn about it and i its all over the internet boxing world...THIS YEAR IT'S HARDLY MENTIONED

Typical "*******s" always avoiding the subject at hand cuz they know they have no answer other than a "**** your source"

PAC COULD ADMIT TO TAKING HGH AND YA'LL STILL WOULD TRY AND BACK HIM UP

True. But the rambunctiousness and reactionary behavior we have seen has been from the boxing fans on sites like this (I've been guilty of this like most).

The only awards Pacquiao should be winning are

    Drugcheat of the year award
    ****wit of the year award
Law-suit filing ***at of the year award

    That's about it.

Funny you say this, since that's how the allegations began.

It's a shame.:-( He should be able to enjoy what his hard work has afforded him but since Floyd and his team started up these rumors and went further to push these stipulations it's definitly affected PAC in more than one way. Even if the fight was on and he agreed to the test his character has been damaged due to the actions Floyd and his camp took in smearing PAC's rep without any justification.

COULD CARE LESS what Floyd Sr has to say...lets assume he never said **** and Floyd wanted the testing still...I WOULD STILL SAY PAC IS HIDING SOMETHING OR HE IS JUST TOO MUCH OF AN IDIOT TO SWALLOW HIS PRIDE AND TAKE THE TESTS...either way it's clear that this drug test item is HURTING MANNY MORE THAN IT IS HELPING HIM...

furthermore IN THIS DAY OF SPORTS AGE, where athletes have testified in front of congress and other HIGH MEMBERS of the U.S government, NOBODY IS GONNA GET "HATE" FOR DEMANDING THAT MORE STRICT DRUG TESTS BE IN PLACE....

Say what you want Lance, but regardless of the "reasoning" behind why Pac should take the drug tests..IT IS SUSPICIOUS AS TO WHY HE WON'T...It's also clear that his award is not getting a lot of recognition becasue of the drug test event that has happened....
