That's a load of garbage, talking plays a major role for all, specifically Roach. He can be quiet, Roach won't and Roach represents him anyway.

Roach will be looking to demand almost EVERYTHING going in against Mayweather knowing everyone will back him up and ridicule anything Mayweather demands which is why that fight might not happen.

They will ask for more money, catchweight, gloves, ring and almost everything. Mayweather is not stupid to accept, especially the money part. He just made as much as Pac made fighting DLH going in against none other than Marquez who Pac made 400k against.

I don't hate manny and I do respect his skills, but come on lets look at the facts...

(1) Marquez beat him twice weather the judges like it or not.

(2) Much was made of him beating up a sliding David Diaz who couldn't of done much with him at his best.

(3)And a whole lot was pumped up at him for beating a weight drained damn near 37 year old De La Hoya who couldnt throw a punch that night and couldnt put on any weight the night beforehand.

(4) An almost totally shot Ricky Hatton who ate more fry-ups than a pro fighter ever should of. He fights alot like an old brawler just as much as he eats like one. Thats why they're careers were over at 30, its because a whole lot of em jus didnt live right an eat the way alot of top boys eat today. Plus walking in against everyone with your head may be great to watch but its not good for your brain stem. Hatton WAS really very good and I hesitate to call him great but he was definetly shot by the time he stepped in with manny.

(5) The fact that he knows full well that he can't beat a fully fledged 147lb'er cos he an his team are always angling for 145's and 144 contracts. Didn't he try to get a 38 year old Shane Mosley to come down to 140??? Thats just bad man.

He is about to step in against the best fighter he has fought so far in a strong, young, quick, hard punching boxer/puncher in Miguel Cotto A guy who won't be weight drained, old or too far away from his prime to be able to let go with his shots. ANOTHER great fighter who CAN bring it.

Peeps might say you just hating on manny an all but im not, I think he's an all time great. BUT, a very well directed and pandered too fighter aswell. Urm, sorry, rant over!!

Dude, it was Shane who made the offer to meet Pac at 140. Pac didn't exactly beg him to drain himself and move down to 140. You say you ain't a hater, but try reading your post again. You're making Pac's accomplishements sound as if they were all gifts and mundane. Name a present fighter who could have done what he did.
