A lot of Old School fighters used to fight like Fencers. I mean, way back.

Mike Tyson and Manny do not have the same stance. They have similarities in their offensive approach, but their stance is night and day. Or more specifically, their reason of use for it.
Earlier Manny maybe, but not the current one who tries to box and ends up half-assing his old and new ways.
And as good as Bogotazo used those gifs to explain Manny's choice of style, they point out how NOT to box if your name is not Manny Pacquiao.

His lead foot was outside of Bradley's the entire night.
I didn't see Bradley make a corrective effort to out-position him to be able to throw his straight right.

    The result:
Bradley: ate a loft of left hands.
Pac: never tasted any solid leather from Bradley's right.

And Pac didn't outbox Bradley?:patsch :rofl :rofl :rofl

If so, Mayweather would have been hit much harder in return, and he would be hit first.

I use a similar stance and my name is not Manny Pacquiao. I'm just left handed. If i turned my front foot in like Orthodox fighters I would have difficulty maintaining a dominate outside foot position and I would have trouble moving away from the right hand.

You know as a southpaw who has participated in many many sports I can tell you that you end up in countless arguments with righties about proper technique regardless of sport.
