    that is a slugger stance.

the 90 degree thing is the ****** stance, which generates less power.

Your front foot shouldnt 90* inward , that means your feet are too parallel - bad balance, and you won't get any leverage on your punches. Malignaggi is a good example of that.

Your foot shouldnt be facing completely frontword either, that means your too square.

It should be somewhere in between . Front foot should be diagonal, legs shoulder width apart. Gives a good balance. That's basically Pacquiao's stance. Though he squares himself up just a bit, gives him a good balance moving around and more upper body movement.

PAc squared himself up a lot more back in day, when he was fighting Barrera and such. He has a pretty typical boxing stance now, though he obviously 'squares' himself up more then someone like Marquez or Floyd.

The front stance or forward stance as it is called in karate is basically an offensive stance. You can generate more power by pushing off with your legs/ calves. The "L" stance which is used by most boxers is basically a balance of offense and defense, giving you better ability to back up or bend away from a punch. The forward stance however gives you better lateral movements. There's is no right or wrong, just depends what style of fighter.

    Great footwork?

He has fast feet but his footwork is quite flawed. Pac is not fundamental sound, probably due to his lack of amatuer background and had to learn on the job. His footing is probably why he bounces all over the place but he has figured out to work with what he got and use his awkwardness to his advantage and thats all it matters.

His foot work is flawed, but it's also incredible.

This isn't 'bouncing around', this is using your feet to create angles and control distance, which requires a lot of coordination and good balance - and being able to it while punching at the same time is something you rarely see in boxing.

    Flip it around-

Look at Cotto's footwork and Bradley's. And remember Bradley was on twisted ankles

its good but not technical in terms of guys like bhop and mayweather, like the other guy said it's flawed. It's flashy but don't mistake that for being great as much as i love watching pacquiao go side to side like that he also has the advantage of being a southpaw and have fast feet.
