Pacquiao's hands were so fast against Ricky Hatton, just had to watch in awe

That was the Pacquiao people are talking about when they say "The Pacquiao from 2009".

Very rarely will you ever see a fighter throw such fast combos with such incredible power and with such accuracy. I couldn't believe how fast he was. We know David Diaz said "he was so just so ****ing man fast, fast, fast". Back in 2008.

He had to change his style after the Margarito fight and especially after the KTFO Marquez fight. He was fighting bigger guys. He was getting older and all those wars made his hands slow.

 

Pacquiao had a massive style advantage against Hatton. Pacquiao is a puncher and Hatton a swarmer who comes straight in. Which is exactly what Pacquiao wants.

But Hatton was still pretty young and Pac actually fought him at his best weight class.

Can't deny how fast he was that night. Insane speed.

 

Mayweather has no power though. It's easier to walk straight in on Mayweather because it takes him so many punches to hurt somebody.

Hatton walked in on Pacquiao too, but Pacquiao hit so hard that it only took about 3-4 punches for Hatton to get hurt.

 

He it Pac with the exact same shot in 2004 (first fight) in round 6. I mean the exact same punch, but it did nothing on Pac. Because Marquez roided up to 147.
