cotto was weighing in at 146 a couple of fights before Pac so he only really had to lose one pound an at the time he said the weight didn't affect him he said he felt strong but ye they should stick to the weight classes but if Pac did stick to the 147 weight class for this fight people would still be complaining so that's why I don't see a problem with this catch weight

you right for all we know the fight could be at 140 or 147 there has been nothing official from the pac camp said yet we don't even know who he is really fighting we just no its either Rios or Alvarado i hope it is at 140 tho.

It makes no sense and certinly doesent fit the team pac pattern to put a rule in place that doesent benefit them

I can almost gaurentee you this is a rehydration clause

Pac gets my respect if he takes on alvarado or rios in a fair match

If they claim he is a 140 fighter why not just make the fight at 140?

As long as no title is on the line, it's all good to me.

Well nobody has defeated Manny when he was defending his catchweight titles of 145 and 150. So this makes perfect sense...

After all, Manny still is champion of the 145 and 150 pound divisions.

lolol, I think I've heard it all now. Pacquiao gain advantage by weight draining a 140lb champion by fighting at 143/144lb.

:rofl Just shows the lengths these mofo's will go to discredit Pac.

HA HA. Yeah, FCK the divisions. Create a catch title at every pound so we can have guys with 40 titles!
