From Diaz - Margarito they have all been (as a group) pretty darn easy to nail.

Now there is no doubt Pacquiao has improved a ton, but back when he lost to Morales it did have a lot to do with the fact it was against a guy who used distance and angles -something which he has not had to deal with since.

If the Mayweather fight does come off it will be such a different kettle of fish - from guys who get involved to the best defensive fighter out there.

I thought Pac was awesome last night, but my money is still on Money to make him look bad!

Why don't you call up your boy Floyd and have him get in the ring then?

They may be easy to hit, but they are being hit by a much smaller guy. They should be able to hit back with ease, yet that's not the case. Floyd will be overwhelmed with Pac's offense and now I know Floyd doesn't have the power to hurt Pac.

Easy to hit or not, it's history in the making and he fought the best guys in those weight divisions. If you're too ignorant to understand that what you are seeing is special then you have issues yourself and need to learn what boxing is about.

The most difficult to hit is Mayweather and it's not Pacquiao's fault the fight didn't happen, Pac has been active all the way, Mayweather had two fights in two years and Pac had four all against bigger world/top class opponents/champions in three different weight divisions. It's obvious who's interested in boxing here.

I too think Money will make it look easy.

But honestly.....other than Mayweather, who else in the last 6 fights could Pacquiao have fought for you to say - yeah, that dude had a good defence. There isn't. He's done the business with whoever's been put infront of him. Even now if you pick any guy from 135-147, Pac will eat them alive.

when you think about it, Pac has only lost 1 round, the first in the Cotto fight, in his last 6 fights.

Clotey, Oscar, and Cotto were all as defensively competent as just about anyone. Pacs offense was what beat them, not really his opponents lack of defence. Manny is a punching machine and trying to play defense with him may help you not to get your face rearranged, but it wont get you the win. Besides, Floyd may be greater than Pacquiaos last 4 opponents, but dont forget Pacquiao is greater than Floyds last 41 opponents.

Thats being a bit generous, I think Cotto won at least 2 or 3 rounds. All the others, maybe not.

He's a defensive fighter, Pac kept him in his shell the whole fight because he has amazing stamina for a puncher and Clottey is defense first...Clottey is not easy to hit which is in direct conflict with the premiss of this thread...

I do understand your point, I just think he's alot harder to hit than we think, see Margocheato for comparison...

ALL PAC's last 6 opponets were easy to hit......... FOR MANNY! No one else had the kind of punch stats with accuracy and volume that PAC put on display for his last 6 victims. IT's not about his opponents being bums...it's about PAC being GREAT. I know....it's hard to fathom how PAC can be so dominant b/c we havn't seen the likes of a Manny PAC since Sugar Ray. Acceptence will be easier when he's retired that's for sure. Enjoy him while he's still in his prime!:good
