You know what Pacs legacy is? Never fighting a black guy. Fighting mostly asians, hispanics and latinos. Imagine if guys like Roy Jones Jr, Ali, Foreman, Tyson, Frazier, Norton, Holmes, Lewis could of fought there whole careers without fighting a black guy. They would of never lost. When Pac beats a black fighter then his career will have some meaning.

nicely said...i thought hatton's chin was great since he had made a living offering his chin just to protect his body...

up to now, i can not assess where i was wrong, was pacquiao really punches a lot harder than urango, collazo, tzsyu and PBF or hatton is glass jaw

Hatton look terrible against Pac what happen to the defence he was learning? At least against Floyd he moved his head for a few rounds he didn't move at all a blind man would have landed at will against him. Not trying to take anything away from Pac he looked great if he were to beat Floyd I personally would have him higher then Chavez, Whitaker and Jones. But its a big "if" as I think Floyd is a bad style for him but you never know.

Asero, just **** off you know absolutely **** all about boxing.

To the posters I genuinely converse with and have (cyber admittedly) friendships with, I apologise for my outbursts lately. But this **** has no place on a Boxing forum.

So.....if Pac doesn't hit harder than Hatton then he must have a glass jaw.....which is why he beat Urango, Maussa (awkward puncher who had sparked Vivian Harris in two) Tszyu (probably the hardest single hitter in 140-lb history, who admittedly didn't land anything awesome on Hatton but more than enough to stop a 'glass jaw' as you say) and Castillo, who, whilst weighing about 140 lbs sparked Chico Corrales out with one shot.

Yet, as Pac beat him he either has to be a bigger puncher than Tszyu OR Hatton has a glass chin????

Please refer to my numerous posts surrounding my opinions of you Asero to gauge my advice.

Were there any african-american boxers in manny's divisions?

    NO

get it through your head, Black-American fighters are big in upper weight divisions.

Lower divisions are simply dominated by hispanic boxers.

Did he just look bad because of who he was in against?

Lack of head movment has always been a weakness on Hattons part but he has got away with it against some of the best fighters in the division through intangibles.

I did not expect this to be an easy fight for Pac and I still think that Hatton was a respectable 140 lb champion.

I think Pacquoaio (The only thing I don't like about this little ****er is trying to spell his name!!) is Top 50. I'd say Top 30 if he beats Mayweather. I'm trying to keep perspective a little bit. Let's see what Mayweather has against JMM. He hasn't fought in a year and a half. Pac is a great fighter. Yeah, I think De La Hoya was shot and Hatton is limited but I also think Pac is better at this weight. Pac looked healthy, Hatton looked too sucked down at the weigh-in. Pac is absolutely an all time great though.

Meant to say I'd put Pac in top 30 - 40 if he beats Mayweather. I'd don't think beating Mayweather would warrant jumping 20 odd spots on an ATG list unless he completely obliterates Mayweather (which I don't see happening if Mayweather is close to peak).

With this, apound retirement, I am almost tempted in putting him in the top ten.

Do anyone think Mayweather will be affected by his inactivity? Has he trained during this time or just hung easy?

The fight will give his answers.
I think inactive will play a part in the upcoming fight, but Mayweather should still win imo.

Right on. :good When you get annoyed Janitor, it's always a safe bet that the other guy's a right idiot.

It would actually be more relevant to question the ATG status of HW champions who never had to fight anyone from the former communist block.
