I feel that the FMJ-MP fight negotiations ended because of pride. People talk here all the time about how much money they turned down because of the blood testing issue, but people dont realize that MP is set for life since after the Morales trilogy. The millions of dollars in purses, international and local endorsements and local business dealings will keep him and his family, his children and his grandchildren, etc, etc rich in the Philippines for a long, long time. 1 US dollar = 46 Philippine pesos. And the minimum wage here is around 300+ pesos a day. Your dollars will go a long, long way here in the Philippines. So, money isnt really that much of an issue for him now, probably. It's just a number for him, and what he wants more is for his will to be followed, probably. I still feel that both camps will re-group and try again later this year, and maybe it does happen.
Lol. They did walk, and they signed a fight in a very short time. As for the blood testing, you should research it before taking Tygart's words at face value. He says they only take a teaspoon when they take vials. He says NSAC urine testing is useless, when NSAC follows WADA protocols and their banned lists, which is the same for... guess who? USADA. He says blood can catch things urine can't which is categorically false. Blood testing is used as a screening tool, its basically to save them money by seeing if there are any flags being thrown, at which point they then do a PRECISE test. Guess which test this is? URINE, lol seriously. I could go on and on... Blood has had zero results on detecting HGH, and there is a new urine test on the market that has much greater reliability. I know that the only thing that blood can detect that urine can't is homologous blood transfusions, which is really pointless when you can do autologous transfusions which is undetectable. When you consider the fact that transfusions suck and you could die, it makes using EPO the obvious choice. And urine testing can catch all versions and maskers of EPO. Hell in fact, its the legal test for convicting people of EPO doping. That's a good coincidence, no? Oh I bet you didn't know that WADA was involved in a doping smear campaign where they tried to falsely accuse then sanction a cyclist by faking a series of tests? They unfroze samples w/o his consent, mind you the samples were supposed to be destroyed years earlier. Did you know that Tygart has used his position to crucify people that have tested positive and denied them access to defend themselves? Tygart is like Floyd, he loves his win percentage. USADA has a 100% conviction rate for cases that go to arbitration. In one case vs Floyd Landis, who has claims innocence, was denied the right to have his samples tested by another lab by Tygart. He then demanded that they go fishing and retest Landis' samples from previous years, however only positive results would be used. That meant if tests came back negative, Landis could not use them for his defense. That's awesome. There's a bunch of other cases similar to Landis'. That aside, I don't really know what happened with the 5 days, 14 days, 20 days, 24 days, 30 days, etc. Who the hell knows, but I do know that the urine test is good stuff. I do know NSAC follows Wada. I do know that Tygart is one crazy mean ****er. I do know that Manny agreed to some blood, and unlimited and random urine testing.
We should test Too Pretty at his jobsite and see how he would feel to random tests. olympic style testing is for nazis.
PEDs? STFU kid! we all know where these steroid talks came from... :yep A-side meth my ass!!! [yt]sE1BOXZ1Wnk[/yt]
coz they don't need to put up with mayweather's harassment tactics. arum puts it plain for them, they need to apply to the NSAC to get the testing they wanted, if NSAC approves, Arum has no choice but to comply. None of them even cared to apply to NSAC which speaks so much of their good intention with this new drug testing advocacy. In any case, i believe this fight will get made late this year if pac and floyd wins both of their bouts with clottey and mosley. The interest between both parties to make this fight for march 13 isn't too strong knowing the timetable is too short. Pacquiao has a deadline for his electoral campaign and he can't wait on Floyd forever to make the deal, he has to fight someone by march 13 and so came clottey. same goes for floyd and he made this demand, bad mouths pac in the middle of the negotiations, i don't see him being too keen to sign the fight, although i think he'd be more serious about it if it's scheduled for sometime later in 2010.
Again, none of that explains the contradictions, lies, and his refusal to take the random tests. Cheers for the information though, I just want someone to give me a half decent reason for all the contradictions. I'm baffled by it.
I know an awful lot about Boxing, but not nearly as much as you know about Manny Pacquiao's sex life.
atschThe still-embittered butt-hurt urine-drinking paisanos and the drug-crazed Floydocaines are at it again for like a gazillionth time... Comedy. :rofl:rofl:rofl Let's move on kids, there's more to life than this shallow charade..
Explain this to me, why is it that there isn't a Manny fan on the General Forum who wants to talk sensibly about anything? ...You should have just come on here and tried to explain to us why Manny wasn't acting suspiciously.
:| Addie you're just a boxing junkie who spends all your time "rewatching" fights. :rofl "i've just rewatch blah, blah, blah" i bet you've just watch those fights for the first time! ****ing POSER!!!! how old are you again? get a job kid... i've been watching boxing when you're still on diapers so STFU! :yep
I'm pretty sure Arum or Top Rank deals with the negotiations, not Roach. Arum has said that they said no to 14 days, or that it was implied to GBP that they wouldn't accept 14 days. Thus Floyd bringing up the 14 days after the fact is really lip service or to deflect the pressure back to Arum. However, by that point Arum had moved on and was signing a fight with Clottey. I dunno but you seem really hung up on all the fud, when there's this mountain of bull**** about the blood and false steroid use. And for the upteenth time, Manny has agreed to unlimited and random urine testing. Does the preference for blood testing negate the urine testing? Cuz that's just downright bull****.
