Boxing is not about hurting your opponents. Floyd scored only 1 KO in his last 5 fights. His power is more overrated than Pac, IMO.
Well, he wasn't as devastating a puncher from when he was back in Super Bantam or at Flyweight. I mean, he knocked the lineal champion out with one punch and he didn't have technique or anything and he was way behind on points.
its actually weaker than that 1 Ko in 6 fights Shane Mosley 5/1/10 147 W UD - Out of the ring 15 months 39 and hurt Floyd Juan Manuel Marquez 9/19/09 142 W UD -Never fought above 135 in his life Ricky Hatton 12/8/07 145 TKO 10 - Manny blinded him and KO in 2 Oscar De La Hoya 5/5/07 154 W SD - Manny death by 1000 left hands Carlos Baldomir 4/11/06 147 W UD 12 - Sr or Jr ? Zab Judah 4/8/06 145 W UD - Was knocked down when tapped w/right hook
Pacquiao's power is very RATED APPROPRIATELY. He doesn't hit as hard as proven welterweight big punchers like Shane Mosley, but he does hit extremely hard, that's why his punches weaken the knees of big welters like Margo and Cotto, and that's why his punches obliterate junior-welters like Hatton. :good
*****s think Floyd KOs Pac. And when you hear them say why, it's as if they got Floyd and Pac mixed up.
here's a suggestion to settle this. why don't you ask pac to hit you in the face once, then you come back to us with a full report.
whats worse? one punch @ 800lbs/psi or 5 punches @ 500lbs/psi?? mannys combinations are key! they do more damage overall.
I'm sure most fighters would fight handicapped for a nice pay day and the chance of dethroning the P4P #1.
Correction: I'm sure most fighters would fight Manny for a nice pay day and the chance of dethroning the P4P #1 even though they will end up handicapped after the fight. :thumbsup
ok so, here's the big question; you claim his power is from his accumulation/accuracy bt do you think he can KO fighters like Berto, Bradley, Alexander, or Floyd Jr? These are all fighters that were barely knocked down in their careers let alone KO'd
ha I'm not just a bull**** ******* that will never watch boxing again after Pac gets beat/retires I'm a fan of the sport as a whole nd I also box myself so I have personal exp. Now I'm also a fan of Pac but he's lost alot of my respect...he lost it once he moved up 2 lightweight and fought weakest link David Diaz,
:think well I know your a ******* becuz Floyd Jr was never apart of this discussion, this thread is about Pac...now Floyd Jr has the higher chance of a KO and it will most likely be a TKO...becuz Pac's power comes from constant flush shots and nobodies been able to land more than 3 shots on Floyd at a time...
