give more credit to jmm attacking first in that sequence whether or not he did land. pac counter right is non existent. i don't need to rewatch it. i'm sure pac did not hit jmm cleanly in 12 rounds because majority of the people say so. 1 round should be given to pac, that's round 1 only because jmm was still warming up. 11 rounds is a pure boxing lesson. easy to score most rounds to jmm, just like your scorecard says.

 

Only thing this proves is what should have been obvious: Primetime commentary was utter ****. Crediting Marquez for a punch Pacquiao landed and orgasming whenever Marquez threw combinations blocked by Pacquiao's arms. Not that he didn't land plenty of clean shots, but you'd think they were watching an entirely different fight.

That's an excellent summary with one additonal major factor. The announcers worked viewers up, and as the video in this thread showed, not calling things accurately much of the time.

I think if it were not for this factor, JMM fans would not be screaming robbery, but just that JMM won a squeaker or it was a draw. That's why I saw it a 2nd time with the sound off. Scored it 4-4-4, but may have tried too hard to give rds to JMM. But it was very close and no robbery--of which there have been many, but not here.

In the pic posted of III, it looked like both eyes of JMM were nearly closed, unlike the 1st 2 fights.

 

I watched both commentry and tbh im lost at some of the **** i hear from commentators. its as if theyre commentating on a imaginary fight.in their head. Jim Lampley was specially bad this fight..
