Big ups to Miguel Cotto for reclaiming his standing in the sport.

Very sad for Yuri Foreman. He fought well and hard, though I had him down at the time of the first slip and hurting of his knee.

This win makes Manny Pacquiao's resume that much stronger and sets up a huge rematch possibility between the new 154 lbs king (WBA) and the newly-crowned Fighter Of The Decade.

    Let's Get It On!!!

no need for a rematch. Cotto got destroyed by Manny's speed and punching angles. Manny knows how to beat Miguel now and would probably finish him quicker. Cotto can't and never could handle what Manny Pacquiao has got.

    A rematch isn't necessary.

rematch would be pointless and I would fear for Cotto's health.

Are you ****ing ******ed? King at 154? for what beating the weakest belt holder. Now Cotto is a great guy and all but he isn't the King of anything. the only person with a claim to be king at 154 is Paul Williams.

How does Pac resume grow by cotto beating the likes of foreman?

No one needs to see a rematch, cotto cant handle pac speed or power.

I don't think Pacquiao could make 154 is that even humanly possible for him? He should retire if he has no worthy options @ 147. As far as Cotto, he could retire now if he chooses.

uh Martinez? Cotto's is going to want to fight Williams or Martinez. I'd put him as the big underdog to those two.

You can be 100 pounds fighting in the 154 division, you can be any weight you want as long as you're under 154. Pacquiao wouldn't have to struggle to "make weight."

I agree it adds to Pacquaio's stellar resume, but a rematch, either at 147 or 154 is no longer needed.

I would rather see Cotto testing 154 further with fights against the top contenders there and Pacquaio pursuing the Mayweather fight, or go back at 140 and rule it.

I don't see him making 154 at all. Now I could be wrong but really...what would he be proving he's already locked his place in the HOF. Also going up is easier than going down but I much rather see Pacquiao retire after this year.
