Yes because everyone can do that. When Spence hits as hard a roided JMM (which is not the case as he put it on Mikey and couldn't do ****) and gets 4 chances at it, then MAYBE he'll have a chance to pull off what JMM did.
You make good points so I cant really disagree. I will say though Prime Pac beats every one of the top WWs today.
Pac should retire, but I don't think he will. He's clearly not the fighter he used to be. He did well tonight, but a prime Pac would have shred Thurman in much more impressive fashion. I think everyone noticed him tiring after the 6th round and getting hit more and more often. He banked an early lead, but lost most of that lead by the end of the fight. Pac got hit a lot late. It could be because Thurman is a very good fighter, but I don't like him taking those kind of shots so late in his career. It's clear that his reaction speed is not as good as it used to be. He's top 3 at 147, but the top 2 are too much for him at his age.
Yeah, he looked pretty static by his standards and seemed to get caught quite a bit. A key reason he was able to fight at Welter was the fact he was fast enough to be elusive, but still kept good power. He was still always fighting at a disadvantage up there. It's insane to keep fighting men who are always bigger than you when you can no longer maintain that agility for the 12 rounds and when they can take your power much better and stay in the fight to grind you down. He'll get beat up if he keeps doing this.
Thurman would have still lost the fight. If Thurman won the 10th round, it would have been 6-6 with 1KD in Pac's favor in 2 cards.
No tears but facts are facts. A guy who was never a big puncher shows he's a much harder hitter than guys like Cotto, Mathysse and Thurman after hiring a well known drugs cheat as S&C and going as far as to hide his identity. Come on now.
But Pac won those late rounds because he brought Thurman's stamina down to his level with that bodyshot. Otherwise It looked like Thurman was on the way to dominating the latter half of the fight, and given the scorecards, they would have definitely given it to Thurman.
Most experts, analyst, etc call it a perfect shot, but the fanboy says otherwise. Haha, ok. Where the receipts of Marquez cheating?
So how about the first shot that knocked Pac down which he landed 20x previously without Pac blinking? And WHY, why, did he hire Heredia and then try to HIDE his identity as though he was a dirty little secret??
Receipts plzz! And it must have not been much of a secret if little angry fanboys know about it, him Deal with it son.
