Pac's only chance is to use angles and hope that his big left hand is strong enough to ko Floyd. If PAc has to fight Floyd flat footed like Morales and JMM forced him to, PAc is dead meat...

Floyd will not back up from Pac nor will he run..if you can run in a ring. Floyd has to back up against Castillo, Baldy and Dlh because they were just bigger than him. Floyd learned against Castillo that he can stand flat footed with anyone. Against Baldy, baldy was just too big and slow...and all Floyd had to do was hit and move. Against Dlh, he let Dlh punch himself out, and then out pointed him. Against Pac, all Floyd has to do is duck the big left...

We already saw how confused Manny was when Cotto boxed him. I don't see how he will figure Floyd out.

    A reasonable break down.

    But.

How's that going to stop the right hook to the body out of the shoulder roll? Also, stylistically, the shoulder roll isn't a great defence to a southpaw.

I think we see Floyd squaring up a bit and employing more of those fast, straight sneaky lead rights on an aggressive Pac, the same ones that had Hatton's head bobbing back and forth like a hooker on a Friday night.

Bascially I see a Morales 1 type fight with a slightly wider margin - 116-112/117-111 type of a fight where Floyd plays a tight defensive game for a comfy boxing victory.

You mean the first round? What happened after that? His overwhelming speed took over did it not?

Pacman's style isn't confusing. He just overwhelms you with his speed and work rate. You can't see the punches coming and you can't block them all. I still favor PBF to win, possibily via schooling but you have to give Pacman a very live chance. He is no pushover. He might get countered silly but he'll keep coming. And i'm sure PBF won't be able to block them all. He'll have to be at the top of his game to beat Pacman.

Again, the same and only "analyzes" Pac backers can come up with. He is too powerful and busy. He is all over the place. He throws from strange angles. He is like tornado. The more I hear this nonsense the less I feel the need to see the fight. This is going to be a very easy fight for Floyd. People are tuning in expecting Leonard vs Hearns or Robinson Vs. Lamotta and they are going to get Cotto vs Gomez.

Maybe it will confuse him, but eventually he'll figure it out and adjust to it

 I'm not a *******. I'm just a fan of boxing. So you think Pacman is just some lucky guy who keeps KOing guys? He's just some wreckless guy throwing bombs? There is no substance in what he does?

I didn't say your a *******, I'm confident your not, but you crystallized in coherent English the only stylistic argument in Pacs favor. Pac needs to be "just better", ie a "higher level" fighter than Mayweather to overcome all the obvious style problems Mayweather presents for him. I'm just not buying any of it. Pac's resume is much better on paper and in imagination than in reality.

Floyd is not worried about anyone's body punching, and the shoulder roll does protect the body as the left arm covers his body. Floyd showed that Shane's body shots didn't even make him flinch as great boxers flex their bodies to be able to take body shots. Floyd's jab is going to offset PAc's atack once Floyd gets PAc's timing down. It is in between that time where Floyd is trying to solve Pac's speed and routine where PAc has a chance imo to upset the applecart.

Three years ago, if somebody even mentioned Pac vs Floyd, you are called a fool or delusional. From zero percent chance of winning to people giving him 50% chance against PBF, not bad at all. Damn who knows after the fight, it could be 100% Pac's. One thing for sure, I ain't betting against Pac no more, lost twice already.

    Floyd UD Pac.

Pac is going to have to hurt Floyd when Floyd opens up. Shane was taller and longer than Floyd and landed a big right, and Shane had speed. PAc is small, and his jab won't do anything to Floyd, and Pac has to reach to land his big left on floyd. I just don't see it PAc fans, I just don't see an upset...
