Noticed two things: 1.)Textbook boxing says to keep your feet grounded when executing punches to maximize power. I notice he leaps sometimes when throwing combos. So, how does he still get power from it? I realize his reach is shorter than his bigger opponents, so I'm guessing this is the only way to justify his leaping tactics. 2.) Also, he appears to cross his feet a lot when throwing combos. I'm guessing this provides him a lot of angles. But then again, isn't it kinda dangerous? I realize following the textbook isn't the only way to go, and other successful fighters have abandoned these rules (like RJJ), but I'm just curious if anyone else tries to employ these unorthodox moves in their own game. I'm guessing you can only pull them off if youre super athletic/good reflexes.
1) He does jump into punches sometimes, I think he does it to create a distraction while he changes angles, his devastating punches are the ones where he is balanced and grounded. 2) His balance and footwork aren't that good, the reason why Mayweather will give him a boxing lesson if they ever meet.
Wait wait... let me guess.... Mayweather would beat him because he writes with his right hand? It makes no difference you fool, you learn motor patterns when you repeat them, whether someone is naturally right handed or left handed makes little difference. The only difference is that people who are naturally left handed or ambidextrous have better spatial awareness as the centre for that in the brain is in the right hemisphere.
I must be ****ing slow then because I have no idea what point you're trying to make. Words are good for communication, just a little pro tip for you there.
What's wrong with Lomachenko? Did you know he writes with his right hand while fighting southpaw ala Pacman? What can you tell me about him then?
