This would've been a war. Mosley would've come into this fight with supreme confidence after his destruction of Marg. He would've just went after Pac. Pac, like the Dlh fight, would've tried to box and keep some distance to start the fight.

It's hard to say who wins. Either Mosley takes him out or Pac's speed is too muc and he batters Mosley for 12 rounds. I'm leaning more towards a Pac ud. Speed kills.

Back at 2009, If Pac beats Mosley @143 instead of Cotto @145, I bet haters will hate more.. :deal

Top reasons will be (if Pac-SSM happened back on 2009)..

    1. Mosley was dehydrated.. If that was @147 Mosley would have knocked him out like he did to Margarito..

    2. Mosley was coming off a long layoff.. That was just his 2nd fight after a long layoff ..

    3. Cotto was the man to beat.. You don't give Margarito credits for beating him.. Cotto was the real number 1..

    4. Insert excuse here

If Pac was scared of Mosley, they won't fight him.. Never! :nono

Floyd ducked Margito is a stronger argument.. :smoke

Pac was busy with Hatton so he had to wait until Cotto-Clottey was already finished.. :hey

Pac fought Mosley @147, and its all that matters.. :deal

It would have been a more exciting fight; that's for sure.

Shane was already past his best even going into the Margarito fight. And yes, even going into the Mayweather fight. But that's why it was surprising that Roach thought he was "To Good" for Pac (still). He may have blew that one. A win over Shane at that time (as long as it is at 147), a Man that just Destroyed the Man that barely beat him {Cotto}, would have been a lot better. It would have secured Pac's place as #1 legitimately. But then again, maybe it was to risky like Roach said...Shane was to good at the time.

    After Pac just defeated Cotto?

Pac all the way. He was a monster back then. How can we all forget how easily he shrugged off Cotto's best punches?
Shane would fare better definitely, but Pac will still put him down and will still put Shane on his bike afterwards.

Pac's rather easy KD of Shane is simply too much proof that Shane's style also plays in the hands of Pac.

Mosley 2009 vs Pac 2012, now that would be a better fight.

    EDIT:
To be fair with Roach, Pac was still unproven at WW during the time, right? I'm not really sure when Mosley went to Wildcard to challenge Pac.

Shane at 135 vs. Pac at 135...now that would have been an even better fight.

Mosley all the way at 135.:bbb

    EDIT:
Pac was too "unstable" at 135.

It would have been stylistically pleasing to the fans either way.

It would be like Berto vs Ortiz.
Damn I miss fights like that.

I have very VERY few guys beating Shane at 135, TBH: Duran, Whitaker, maybe Floyd.
