Say hhhhhuat? Hows abouts all those fighters he easily defeated such as the famed Hoya, the notorious Margarito, the venerable Cotto, the highly-respected Hatton, the mighty Marquez, and others of great reputations? They didn't count? Only the opinion that he might be able to beat Mayweather counted? Excuse me but...:risas3:

It does count you stupid bitter alt troll it was an official fight and the money was real to. Like I said dumbass pbf continued to do record numbers and stayed relevant almost 3 years after he fought pac. Btw you ignorant fool ggg-canelo would be lucky to do 800k in buys canelo-conor won't do half as much as pbf-conor dummy pbf is the face of boxing and is the proven superior draw and only a fool would argue otherwise.

He is the only eight-division world champion in the history of boxing, having won eleven major world titles, as well as being the first boxer to win the lineal champion in five different weight classes. Pacquiao is also the first boxer in history to win major world titles in four of the original eight weight classes in boxing, also known as the "glamour divisions": flyweight, featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight. All of that, without Floyd. So your statement is a steaming pile of BS. But if you insist on comparing Wangs, Floyd was voted #1 P4P on ESPN's P4P list in the past 25 years and Pac is #2.

He's always been a B-B+ Fighter, he would have never been p4p #1 if Floyd didn't retire due to a body injury. That's a fact.

You must not have been following boxing back when Pacquiao was KTFO Barrera, Morales, Hatton and a host of other fighters.

400k is quite a lot for such a **** fight. If Pac Horn had done 200k I would of thought it was an achievement.

Anyway on this thread's topic - Pac would have had an equally legendary career had Mayweather never bothered lacing up a pair of gloves. The list of his achievements sub 140 are enough to have him in the HOF and in discussions of ATG's at the lower weights.

Ridiculous as it is that I have to say this but Pac was a truly great fighter. So was Floyd. Anyone who says either wasn't is a total ****ing moron.

attaboi/seck word to the wise, if you don't want anyone to know you're an alt, don't come right out of the gate with troll threads. You're about as subtle as a ball peen hammer to the testicles.

    Buh bye.:deal:

Judging by this criteria, I guess I can conclude that Mayweather legacy was built on somebody who people wants to see KTFO?! Pretty sad ain't it?

Lol passive aggressive pac hate post. I agree with you that his star and image was magnified due to the Floyd factor. But Pac was who he was because of his style, and his "A-Side Meth" level of intensity he brought into the ring. He was the Anti-Floyd. He was what casuals loved about the sport (aggression and violence), while Floyd was what hardcores loved about the sport (skill and technical brilliance) You remember those days dude, the boxing world was literally split down the middle between Pac and Floyd. It wasn't all due to Floyd, Pac was a star in his own right.

He also had a great career before even being compared to Floyd, winning titles in (i think) 4 weight classes already, and then destroying the great Barrera.
