Pac's ability to take Cotto's punches, stay composed, and adjust amazed me most!

Yes, we all know about the speed and power but Jesus! How the hell can he take punches like that? I mean wow, he finally got hit solidy above 130 so now we know for certain he has no trouble taking punches @ WW.

****, he even covered up against the ropes and let Cotto punch. I thought WTF is he doing?

Well, no excuses that he's the smaller man if he loses to a WW. I don't care how big a WW he fights, he's proven he can handle it.

He actually got better again. The other most amazing thing was he kept his composure and never got bothered by a big punching WW while on the ropes.

IMO, but that really got Roach worried! I guess there was no need to be.

Also showed he can adjust to the other fighter now, and is not just stuck to a particular plan.

Those are the new aspects that really were impressive to me.

Indeed. That was the only question mark really and he was way more durable than I ever could've anticipated. Just amazing. Pac man might as well be called super man. Sorry Dwight Howard.

HE was weight drained at 130 that's why his chin was shaky not bad though.

I was also worried when he spent time on the ropes.. I was thinking that of course he felt he could take those punches and wanted Cotto to commit and open up on the inside for quick counters + I thought maybe he wants Cotto to somehow get the jab out of his mind cause it was dominant when used...

Anyways, it's a privilege to witness him fight in this era !

He answered all the big questions I had left. Now the fact I had them, apparently that makes me a hater!:dead

He did a little Clottey impression!

I thought to myself, okay Cotto probably won't just spark him on one punch, but can he hold up from multiple punches?

****, didn't even bother him! He was marked up a little but not bad at all.

You all know by now how big of a Pac fan i am. I had my doubts about how MP will react to a WW champ punches. This fight answered it. For all those doubting Thomases who doesn't think Pac belongs in the WW division, guess again.

I didnt think that Pac could take Cotto's punches... i felt that when miguel landed those bombs he would stun him just like Marquez did but i was wrong... after this fight i will never ever pick against Manny Pacquiao again and it just puts the rubber stamp for me on his ATG status

Well, yes he did probably stay @ 130 too long, but still could never fathom him taking Cotto's punches like that.

Also, with the extra muscle I think that helps. In the shoulders and neck, which really helps a fighter to take punches.

Yep, when you saw Cotto nail him and not much happen, and then Manny nail Cotto and Cotto didn't like it one bit, you knew Cotto was in for a very painful night. Amazing.

Ah when did Clottey shut out Cotto and when did he mess up Cottos face? He had a nice headbut that cut Cotto but he never really hurt him that bad.
