have you ever seen Nard's weight on fight night or Floyds...even manny's? they typically only gain a few pounds. It's the sign of being in SUPREME condition when you don't BALLOON up in weight on fight night. When fighters do that, a lot of time it's an indication that they didn't lose weight the proper way.

I have no doubt in my mind DLH did everything the RIGHT way in cutting weight and brought in a TEAM of people who would monitor his weight and vitals during his camp. DLH took a very scientific approach to getting ready for the PAC fight.

leonard was 5'10", hearns was 6'1", hagler, 5'9 1/2 and fought at 160 his whole career. Duran was closer to pacs height but was not known for his speed. Pac is 5'5" 1/2

Regardless of the physical demensions, these men were able to go beyond what was the norm based on their ability to not only move up in weight and win, but do so in dominant fashion keeping their physical attributes in tact as they move northward through the higher divisions.

Curious question....And Im not accusing here...But i wonder if anybody could find Mosley's Tale of The Tape images from his fights with Golden Johnson (Lightweight); Wilfredo Rivera (Welterweight Debut); Both Forrest Fights; Raul Marquez...Then Mosley Vs. De La Hoya 2...This is the fight that he was proven to and admitted to Using the Clear...If his weight fluctuations stay the same as Manny; then what do these pictures actually prove?

I think this thread is more along the lines of the HGH accusations.

He obviously hasn't gained that much weight, and his head and fists have always been big, proven by the pictures.

EPO is detectable by urine. HGH is through blood, which is what the Floyd fans think he's on.

Also, EPO wouldn't be the drug of choice for someone moving up in weight anyways. It is an endurance booster, not strength/muscle increaser.

Manny never had endurance issues to begin with.

I know **** all about steroids and whatever else so I'm not going to sit here typing like I'm some sort of Doctor. However, this thread really isn't needed to prove anything unless your an idiot.

Pacquiao used to drain to make weight to maximise physical advantages. As he moved up, he has been able to spend less time draining weight and more time on technical aspects, allowing him to maintain speed and improve his technique.

The fact is what he has done is truly remarkable, and the modern society being the way it is, achieving abnormal success will raise red flags.

People (Bald_Head_Slick) on this and other forums get so embroiled in mud-slinging contests that even when logic is close to prevailing, they can find it in themselves to stubbornly stick by their ridiculous, unproven claims. Simply because they are too proud to accept they may have been wrong in the first place.

But hey, it's their loss. 20 years down the line we will be reminiscing on great boxing nights, while some of these other clowns will still be spouting bitter nonsense about illegal supplements.

Surprisingly little weight gain considering the amount of divisions he's gone through

How would a guy who started out at 106 lbs. know for sure that he could effectively compete at 147 without first testing himself at the weight divisions in between? Your logic asks why a child would spend years crawling when later years would prove that he could run anyway?

Frankly, ***** logic never fails to astound me. :verysad
