I've never seen Cotto gas in a fight. Second, Chavez-Sweetpea has nothing to do with anything. Nobody even talked about the catch weight of their fight since fans thought that both fighters best weight was probably 140. Third, Cotto agreed to 145 because PAc threatened to back out of the fight.

the only thing pac haters would be able to use as an excuse is that cotto had to come down in weight and it won't be nearly a significant enough drop to effect him whatsoever. i don't think they'll have an excuse.

I will give Pac credit for beating Cotto because Cotto is a natural welterweight. His chin is no longer shaky at this weight.

However I wont give him to much credit beyond that as I never rated him as highly as many posters on here have. I always fought he struggled in many fights in his career and was not surprised to see lose to Margarito. I also had him losing against Clottey,

Yes he beat Shane Mosley which was a good win, but I would like to see the day Cotto wins a belt from an actual champion and not one that is vacated.
