his def never gets enough credit. Timmy landed what 19% of his punches? Although timmy is a volume puncher over an accurate one at that. But yes his defence has def got better especially his headmovement. Footwork has always been good, although in the bradley fight he didnt use his footwork as well as he normally does. Probably because he was trying to pressure him and set up big shots.

Pacs defense has always been underrated. He can get out of danger with a combination of head and feet movements. The problem is he still blocks with his gloves a lot. People and judges nowadays prefer to see more head, hips, and shoulder roll like slick black African Americans in Bradley, Floyd, and Pernell.

 

Pac's defense is one of his best assets. His footwork gets him out of trouble constantly and his ability to block punches is 2nd to none. He moves out in angles, making it incredibly hard to land cleanly on him.

People say he's got no defense, but you won't find many better with a better defense. You have Mayweather, Hopkins, Rigo, Ward...then Pac.

Martinez is good, but his defense wasn't so good against Murray.

Broner's defense is overrated. He lacks footwork. Khan didn't knocked down like Broner did.

Lara's defense didn't look so good when he was getting knocked down all over the place by Angulo. I do agree that he may have better defense though.
