Pac's greater legacy... beating cotto at 145 or beating mosley at 140?

what is the deal with everyone thinking mosley at 140 is even close to as good of a fight for pac's legacy as cotto at 145? cotto at 145 is a MUCH tougher fight for pacquiao and will gain him MUCH more respect.

Talking of legacy or not . . . Pac will get more recognition fighting at 145 . . . Mosley has not fought at 140 all this time of his career . . . plus if Pac wins at 145 it's another Division.

 

Beating Cotto. I think SSM will be severely weight drained @ 140.

who is voting in this? Mosley is a greater fight and in 10 years having his name on Pacman's record is a greater name. Beating Cotto is no big deal. Cotto was beaten up by Margarito and some people think he lost his last fight with Clottey. Mosley is the better win. If this is about the 140 pound limit, well then 145 also with Mosley, and Mosley is the better win. Cotto is not as great as Mosley and is seen more washed up now. Who is voting in these ESB polls? Doesn't make sense.

 

Mosley wanted the fight that is why he said 140 because he knows Pacman does not want to fight him. For whatever reasons. But if it is about fighting both guys regardless of weight, Mosley is the bigger name and a huge win. Cotto? If Pacman beats Cotto after Margarito destroyed him and Clottey looked good, this will not be a great win. Why is Pacman doing what Oscar and Floyd have been doing. He was so great fighting them all and now he is also cherrypicking. Too bad.

Mosely is a good win, but not at 140. He'll be too weak. Pac will get hated for this. Mosely is desperate.

Hard to say. Cotto is good, but with big question marks after the embarrasing loss to Margarito (despite him cheating). And Mosley is all over the place. Looked old and over it for years before suddenly seemingly finding some old spark.. impossible to know how good he is at the moment.

Both are ok opponents, but the one opponent Pac needs is Mayweather. Other than that there are really noone who would add to his already great carreer.
