When someone asks me if I was disappointed with Pacquiao's May 2 performance.

And you think that's why he loss to Floyd? It's not because Floyd is a better fighter?

I was, and I'm a Mayweather fan. All that hype, all that build up, all that talk and he couldn't even put up much of a challenge, I was actually hoping he'd do something to make it even remotely exciting but he wasn't able.

I've not even rewatched that fight since, it was just a sad spectacle to be honest.

    Things that I know:
    - Mayweather outboxed Pacquiao May 2
    - Pacquiao had a torn rotator cuff
    - Mayweather would outbox a healthy Pacquiao

The shoulder could've definitely hindered his ability/performance, but it wouldn't have made a difference in the end.

Same. If it was a great fight, I could've cared less about who won or lost. The hype, the expectation... and then the controversy and disappointment of it all afterwards. It sucks. Heck, I went to get my nails done yesterday and the dude who did it starting talking to me about how bad the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight sucked.

I was hoping it would go down in history, draw interest back in the sport... the type of fight where movies would be made of it. Instead, everyone wants to forget it and them and that makes me sad.

Not heart, but his will to win or his fire. He seems to have lost it.

Another reason Floyd is the better fighter, the paydays, luxuries, rewards, accolades, haven't diluted his will to win. Pac didn't like being outmanuevered, pot shotted, counterpunched, and missing most of his shots. He packed it in and quit, just like a bunch of other Floyd opponents.

I still think he's waiting for God to show up.... God was supposed to deliver him victory. Manny is still praying. Give it time.
