Lance Pugmire was the first one to ever bring up the shoulder injury. None of it was made aware to the world until he asked Pacquiao about it. That's when Pac said, "Yeah I tore my shoulder two weeks before the fight." Guess what happened after that? He got surgery.
I had what had been diagnosed through an MRI as a torn rotator cuff, but when the surgeon got into my shoulder turns out it was a bone spur. Nevertheless, before the surgery I COULD NOT RAISE MY ARM PAST SHOULDER HEIGHT without enduring burning agony. It felt like a hot knife stabbing into my shoulder. Athletes in other sports take months to heal from torn rotator cuff surgery....and after months of intensive physical therapy. Personally, I seriously doubt Pac had a true torn rotator cuff.
Oh the irony who's the one running and hugging? daddy had to scold his own flesh and blood the shame void brought to his Daddy was hilarious. This is true story not something made up i have proof. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhubzWi5YNE bwahahaha
He did fight like his heart was gone. But then again, none of the examples of injured people fighting on were facing the best pound for pound fighter in the world. I think Pac just gave up, or maybe he actually thought he was winning.
In the original post I asked a question of Heart and fighting through injury. We saw B Hop do it and emerge victorious, we've seen the Rocky type fighters who are blind and battered yet go out and try to end the show. We just saw Berto acquire a serious shoulder injury and continue to fight until he got stopped...what exactly did we see from Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd? Shoulder injury or not...(not) wasn't he suppose to try a little bit harder than that? Wasn't all your hopes and dreams riding on him beating Floyd?
:rofl:rofl:rofl Let's hear that again Void Sr.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhubzWi5YNE This is a true story.:rofl:rofl
he had a visible red mark behind his shoulder half way thru the fight. i dont really think he was bs-ing
every injury is not the same person to person. had a torn rotator cuff and although i could do most things....including throwing a good punch...it just wasn't up to par. finally had the surgery and , again. i can throw a good punch and do everything else it is not as good. it would have been possible for me to fight a good fight, prior to the surgery. and others would have said " oh he didn't really have a torn rottor cuff. so yes, it is possible. remember the adrenalin starts pumpin and you just do it.
If Manny injured his arms or shoulders in any way the most likely reason is from missing all those punches hitting nothing but air! Everybody who follows boxing knows missed punches often hurt the offensive fighter more than landed!
