never seen pac in situation where he had to demonstrate in-fighting....he tends to prefer to keep the fight at a distance. on the other hand, floyd is a great inside fighter....look for floyd to bring the fight at close quarters so he can work pac's body in the early rounds...the intention would be for him to affect pac's conditioning so pac is less mobile by the mid-late rounds making him more of a target and a prime candidate for the KO.

TO get inside, he's going to have to get past the midrange, and bam.

it could also work the other way around: FLoyd might have to eat some punches to get in close and tire Pac down

floyd has the longer range...the jab is all he needs to work his way in.

floyd has the advantage from the outside....because he's the taller, longer guy. he has the advantage on the inside due to his infighting ability. he won't have to eat punches so long as he works behind the jab

just sayin...pac's lack of an inside game is another big flaw in his game...this is why he has trouble with guys like marquez and bradley who can work on the inside and on the outside as well.

Closest Pac gets to inside game is where he has his opponents against the ropes and starts looping in shots...

if Pac moves his head like he did in the 4th Marquez fight, he will neutralise Floyd's jab (which isn't the most effective weapon for an orthodox fighter vs a southpaw anyway), in my view he should focus more on his straight right whiich will cause Pac loads of trouble, Pac should be the one trying to drag Floyd into exchanges, where his chances of hurting Floyd are the best

That only worked for 2 rounds then went away as soon as JMM started to go to his body. That extra movement is a waste against a Floyd Mayweather. Plus it will force the fight into a fencing chess match which is Floyds game. Manny should do what Bradley did in the second fight and go for the KO early. It's his only chance.

Cereal, I've been saying that once Pac tires, he will be forced to fight inside. Pac has no inside game. He won't be able to jump in and out all night.

Not really .. Pac is not a counter puncher and will more then likely bring the fight to floyd .. Pac will do the work for Floyd just need to control the distance and time pac coming and look for opening to the body.

    floyd get inside?! Looool

This fight only plays out one way in terms of positioning - Floyd on the outside & pac on the outside. Floyd trying to use his range whilst Pac trying to close that range whilst on the offensive. Don't think Floyd has it in him anymore to close down on Pacquiao when he has the opportunity...when was the last time he did that against someone with footwork like Pac's? many years ago....

Floyd trys to close down Pac then he is going to get destroyed.

Hatton was trying to fight on the inside. The only other guy was Sanchez and he was fighting an ugly, dirty fight.. But he was doing good for as long as the ref let it go, that was over ten years ago though..

Pac may not have an inside game per say but you just can't rush in because he goes to the ropes. He has a sneaky right hook that is dangerous. He rocked Marquez and Morales with it. If Mayweather backs him to the ropes, he needs to just stand off and work him with his longer reach, like he did Canelo.
