Tim B's strategy, in alot of his fights, is to simply throw at the same time his opponent throws. He negates the offense of the other fighter by simply being the last one to throw a punch. Its alot more effective than most people think. How much will Manny jab in this fight? Pac uses the jab mostly just to start combos-its a balance thing...a momentum thing. What do you think? Jab, or does he lead with upercuts and hooks? Righthook, left straight? What works best with TB?
Perhaps. Bradley has a tactic of being the last guy to punch in every exchange. Its a rhythm and timing thing. The opponent becomes more wary of every exchange, and there changes his style. Even a non-accurate puncher can be effective in this regard. It works fr guys with chins too. The way to beat it is to be first with the jab or lead right/left, and be the last to finish every exchange. But with TB, that could mean a war.
Pac's best strategy is to be all over Tim from the jump, try to pin him against the ropes, and throw punches with abandon. He might have the speed to counter Bradley some, but at the end of the day Bradley is a better all-around technical fighter and a tame boxing match is what he wants, so there's no reason for Pacquaio to try to box with him. And really, Bradley has no pop to deter Pacquiao from getting all over him if he has the mentality to do so.
Pac doesn't have a decent jab. Tim has a good jab and longer reach. If Pac tries to out jab Timmy, he's going to have a long night.
