Right on the money. The fights that put Pac into stardom are just fights to make him look good cherry picked by master cherry picker ROACH... Its all smoke and mirrors that the media and public eat up.

??? Pacquiao just fought for the supposed 154lb title, but apparently people aren't allowed to weigh 154lbs only 150lbs?

it was a catchweight fight which margo agreed. and consider that margo was a campaigner in 147 shows that 150 is not foreign territory for him.

the catchweight was meant to even the playing field. margo was not forced to fight pac, margo was so eager to fight pac, big payday.

wouldn't you fight pac for 8m dollars? heck, some posters here would suck **** for a million bucks or get it ellerbe style for much lesser money.

so don't come here as if margo was coerced into the fight. he was a willign participant. like a mexican ***** about hit paydirt. :D

:patsch cherrypick when margo almost broke pacs ribs. during the interview, he said his ribs is still hurting and that the doctor said it will still be 2-3 weeks.

cherrypick margo? if pac were to cherry pick. he would probably ask rafa or juanma to come up 2 weight class to fight him at 140. :patsch

part of psychological warfare on the part of roach.

what do you guys want. for pac to fight the younger, bigger, faster man?

he wants to fight mayweather and void goes on vacation.

who do you want him to fight? mosley is nearing 40. :patsch

jmm is what, 37? he can fight berto but does berto bring in the money?

    nothing like some mind games.

anyway pac cant get any heavier than 145ish so I think the max he'd take anyone else on is 154. That's a huge difference though when it comes to fight night.

If only Mayweather would just get the urge...

And fuk mosley, id rather see pac KO berto

What did Roach say before the fight? Wasn't it: "I saw your last 2 fights"? What does that mean to you? Margarito had been inactive and looked bad in those 2 fights, but had the potential to draw a good crowd in Texas. That looks like cherry picking a fading opponent who will give them a good payday. Everyone that knew anything about boxing knew that Margarito wasn't a real challenge. On top of that, he's a proven cheater, but that didn't stop them. I didn't even have much of a problem with this ****, but now fighting Mosley is hard to justify.

Pac should vacate his SWW belt if can't fight at that limit. then go back to WW or JWW. Berto is not really a bad match-up, or Bradley/Alexander winner.

What's with this issue about JMM and the PPV numbers? JMM's last fight did what...about 200,000? Margarito and Clottey haven't proven to be big draws without Pac? Not even close to 200,000. JMM and Pac would be huge, IMO. No less than 1M PPV's as long as it's at a competitive weight. I think they are stuck with the whole 'David and Goliath' angle, since it has that circus appeal, and seems to sell well.

Martinez would be wise to stay at MW. There's no sense in killing himself to make that C/W.

Pac prefers Mosely; because, he's a bigger puncher? I don't think he wants to get hit with any of those looping hooks, just to please the fans. Shane can crack. Manny will out hustle him though. The result is predetermined. How WWE'ish this has all become.

Pac's got no business messing around with Sergio Martinez. Putting the demand at 150 is a roundabout way of saying "hell no".

I don't blame Pacquiao for it, either. It's just not realistic, and Sergio would really mess him up if it happened. If Manny can't land the megafight with Floyd, he may as well pursue Berto or the Bradley-Alexander winner. Those are much more reasonable, winnable fights for him while still being fan-friendly and adding to his resume.

JMM brings in the same Mexican fanbase as marg, but emmanuel said fighting JMM won't do good PPVs. Could this mean his PPV #s against marg weren't great at all?
