This is how I feel about it........

If Marquez looks his age even in winning, they're not going to fight Marquez.

If Marquez looks razor sharp and ends up completely dominating Katsidis, they're not going to fight Marquez.


If Marquez looks good, but vulnerable enough where Katsidis is competitive and has his moments......believe me, Marquez will be Pacquiao's next opponent.

 

I just noticed that in this article, Pac says he would fight Martinez likely below 150lbs, did they change the article or something?

Guess they're going to boil Hopkins down to 147 as well, Hopkins is desperate for cash so I wouldn't be surprised.

well, pac also said in a very recent interview that he may continue boxing until he is 35. that's 4 more years or 8 fights.

that's enough time to have a trilogy w/ mayweather, a 3rd fight w/ jmm, a fight w/ mosley, a fight w/ martinez, and even possibly berto, bradley, khan, etc.

Well to be honest, this fight is still better than mosley for me. I really want to see Pac send this guy to retirement even if it's too late now.

 

And Mosley is 39, now. He will be nearly 40, by the time he and Manny fight. When Manny fought JMM in 2008, JMM was 34, and Manny was 28. Age is, obviously, not what is keeping this fight from happening.
