They may have been cheaters "the same way Pac is said to be" but those guys didn't have to weight drain their opponents,so overall he still had an advantage..

 

so why do they still need those extra boost when they were known to have some physical advantages over their opponents?

It also depends where their African heritage comes from.

West Africans are on average better sprinters, while East Africans are better at endurance running.
Whites (especially Slavs) dominate strongest men contests.

Darwinism etc.


Most of the time advantages come with disadvantages.
P4P we're weak compared to other primates, but we totally dominate them on endurance.
