First thing I thought when I read the original thread of this reply, expect the next pac ppv buys to be low:deal or average pac buys if he fights Floyd. Thanx bob and team pac..

I think the buys may be more next round, at least a million plus because of JMM and Mexican fans buying too. I'm not buying it though, didn't buy the last one either, FANS, IF YOU WANT BETTER FIGHTS, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, DON'T BUY JUST ANYTHING! MAKE THEM REALLY WORK FOR ALL THAT MONEY! C'mon most of us are just getting by and we have to work daily!

Pac can get out of it by someone good, I think they will promote the hell out of marquez based on the first two fights, it probably will do a mil.
Im more worried about the sport in general in the perception of the casual fans, it might not hurt pac but it would do for a good fight like hopkins vs pascal 2 or bradley vs khan.

your theory is wrong. A good example is Floyd mayweather. He's a boring fighter but people still pay hoping to see him get knocked out.

People will still buy Pac's ppv because he fights and knocks people out.

HIs next PPV numbers might take a small dent based on his last performance but if paired with JMM they will still do over 1mill buys.

Pacquiao could fight air and he would still do big numbers. The guy is doing 7 figure ppv numbers fighting handpicked setups. Pacquiao hasn't been in a competitive fight in 3 years, yet people still buy his fights. He's a certified cash cow.

I'm hoping Floyd n Pac pass the torch of ppv king like ODLH did to both in his defeat, Prinz comes to mind if he gets his **** together so far he looked good with berto.

to be honest as well as he did with Mosley....i dont believe we will see Pac ever dip Under 1.1 mill while on this winning streak

The only NAMES right now that will help Manny break the 1 mil mark are FLoyd, Martinez and JMM.

Ortiz/Pac might also do big with a huge promotion behind it.

    Wow - He's practically a failure now.

He may as well retire on his mountain of gold.
