Pac's options after the Mayweather deal fell through?

Outside of Mayweather, there are no other fights that could have been made with equal importance.

Molsey and Berto was still on the go. The Haiti earthquake happened in Jan 12, Berto pulled out a week later. Clottey vs Pac was agreed upon several days before the earthquake.

That leaves as with Yuri at 154 and the 140 weight class.

Yuri - Top Rank fighter, recent champ at 154. While Arum was salivating in the idea of another in house fight with Pac that gives him another weight class, I doubt Roach and the rest of the boxing community wanted to see the fight.

This brings us to the 140 weight class.

Paul M - non Top Rank, feather fisted loud mouth with decent speed and above average technical skills. Emphasis on loud mouth and NON Top Rank. While he did just beat Diaz twice (be honest), he really had nothing to bring to the table. He is like Mayweather with less skills, less power, less name brand, less fans, less EVERYTHING except hair products. The dude is a decent boxer but he really does not deserve to be fighting any top 5 P4P fighter, let alone the top dog.

Holt - Top Rank, decent fighter with decent skills. He had not fought since his big defeat to a younger and more skillful Bradley. And he was already scheduled to fight Mabuza..... which he lost.

That brings us the only real possible match -

Bradley - non Top rank, great technical skills, a bit feather fisted champion at 140. Bradley was itching for the fight as he felt he did enough to warrant a payday with the top dog.

Between him and Clottey - it is pretty much a toss up.
Clottey has more power, more durable (though Bradley has a decent chin I don't think you can even compare it with Clottey's) and stronger.
Bradley is a bit more technical (Clottey is technical but do not have the technical range of Bradley) and proven big game champion.

You can make an argument for either, the BIG difference is...

Clottey is Top Rank.
