Pacquiao is already as big as any human being can be in his native Philippines. He is certainly making a name for himself here in the states as well. But his next 2 fights, win or lose (as long as he gives his all/and he ALWAYS does) could catapult him into a world renowned sports icon the likes of Tiger Woods & Michael Jordan.

    1. Pacquiao vs. Hatton in May at Wembley Stadium. In front of several thousand rabid Hattonites, Pacquiao will have the opportunity to win the respect and adoration of a whole another continent.

    2. Pacquiao vs. Mayweather in October at Araneta Coliseum. The New Millenium "Thrilla in Manila". Pacquiao goes home to take on the undefeated p4p emeritus champion.

Regardless of the outcome, those 2 fights would propel PacMan into the international limelight. Should he emerge victorious in both? A case could be made for top 10 ATG!
