Oh well, I guess this is another one of those numerous alts of Pac haters who couldn't come back here in ESB because of Pac proving them wrong time and time again.

Pac has good power, but as it was with a young Tyson, its the fact that the punches are delivered with such quickness that makes them so effective.

Mayweather has at least as good reflex, and will box Pac's head off in a very one sided fight.
Man Cotto who's not got a fraction of Mayweathers boxing ability when he stuck to his plan outboxed Pac easy. He just couldnt help himself trying to walk Pac down, and paid the price. Mayweather wont do that.

Marquez boxed Pac's ears off twice and got jobbed twice.

Mayweather will be patient and clinical, and Pac wont even get into this fight. I think it will be pretty boring to be honest.

He's either stopped or knocked down all of his last 30 opponents or so...that says enough. You mention Diaz...this tells me you have no clue. Holt at 140 couldnt even stop Diaz, his TKO victory over Diaz was premature too as Diaz was still punching back at time of stoppage...this was after Holt landed around 20 shots straight. Now Holt is suppose to be a good puncher, Pac KTFO Diaz at 135...nuff said.

smaller fighters are likely to throw more punches in a fight, and when I see Pacquiao he's actually one of the small fighters who really bring power in his punches. Just because he's not having brutal one punch KO power like a heavyweight doesn't mean he's got overrated power. The smaller the fighters get it's more about acumulating punches, you just can't get the same leverage with very short arms. There are as always exceptions to the rule

i'm not even going to read this stupid post

so to the thread starter, why don't you go inside the ring with pacquiao, test his punch and let us know here in ESB. How's that?

Kostya Tszyu couldnt even KO Hatton and he is concidered a big puncher. your analsys are flawed because to be considered a big puncher one has to knock out every one and not only that but in spectacular fashion. In that case noone is a big puncher and every one is overrated.

I was just busy posting the number of Excellent fighters kod by Great punchers :scaredas: Scary ass!

what's the point of this discussion? so let's say we agree that Pac's power is 75% from ideal. What does that change? At the very least we could discuss whether Pac's power is as good as Floyd's since this is his next most likely opponent.

PAC can hit i dont see where theres a dispute......if anything i noticed with his rise in weight it might take a little more softening up of the opponenet to get them out of there but his power is still there. The record speaks for itself.

Pac puts people on their back, and he puts them to sleep. I thought he killed Hatton. How the hell can you even try to argue he doesn't have power? Malignaggi has speed. Calderon has speed. Pac has speed AND power.

Even the old KT Hatton faced could have knocked him out in a boxing match. Not in that wrestling match they had in Manchester.

People get up from his punches, why is that? lol

Try he fights the very best and toughest mother****ers out there, that's why.

Fact is with his combination of speed and power he has destroyed fighters like no-one could've imagined. Barrera, Morales, De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto had never suffered such violent beadowns. He didn't destroy Marquez, but heck he put him down like 5 times in getting a draw and an SD.
